Smallest room I’ve ever experienced, and I’ve experienced many.
The bed was good for two, there was two chairs in the room, but there was no space for anything else. One could hardly turn around after taking the luggage in. If it’s a single room (like the guy said in the reception – sort of apologizing on the lack of space), then why broad bed and two chairs? No one came to remove the extra chair though promised. I used it as a table then, which the room didn’t have.
The shower was hell. The handle of the thermostat was broken and very difficult to adjust, and the options were: unpleasantly hot, and burning hot. I prefer rather cool showers, now I had to rush the torturing and scary experience, as I burned myself couple of times and you were all the time worried what kind of heat it’ll give next.
The breakfast experience was outrageous. I came late, like 15 minutes until they are supposed to finish, and asked politely “Do I still have time to eat breakfast?”. The lady said “Yes”, and charged me around 20 dollars.
The funny thing was, that she answered only to the ‘time’, not to the fact that they didn’t fill up the buffett anymore, so I had to scrape the left overs and go without many things I’d have liked to eat. I asked about it, and was treated as impolitely and unfairly as I’ve ever seen in similar situation.
Several of the staff were impolite, only the Russian cleaning ladies by the floor were nice, though didn’t speak a word of English.
Price was ok.
