Overall, the walnut resort is a nice place to stay. For the calibre of the value that I was expecting, to me little things mean a lot. Maid service came by around nine to make up our room. We asked her to come back later. We left and returned about three hours later and the room is still not made up. The front end desk was helpful and promptly had a roommate up while we waited in the lounge area. We returned to the room, to see that the only thing done was that our bed was made. The kitchen was not restored to what it should be. In the bathroom, some things were amiss.
One thing to watch for, is that the bedframe of the king size bed, it’s in corners of the frame, are a higher risk area for shin hits. I had a minor cut on my shin from hitting them, and my wife bruised her bone of her shin.
