Welcome to the Baltic Sea resort of Baabe!



The Baabe vacation home with a terrace and fireplace (72 square meters, max. 4 adults, living room with fireplace, 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, bathroom/shower, terrace, Wi-Fi) is a semi-detached house located approximately 900 m from the beautiful, fine-sand beach and 400 m from Lake Sellin. The area is part of the UNESCO Southeast Rügen Biosphere Reserve, featuring magnificent and unspoiled nature!
The beach can be reached directly on foot in about 15 minutes through the adjacent forest or by bike in about 5 minutes. With the visitor’s card, you can ride the Bäderbahn to the Baltic Sea beach for free and simply enjoy nature during the ride. This ride is also always a special experience for our younger guests. In addition to the clothed beach, the kilometer-long Baltic Sea beach features nude and dog-friendly sections.



Thanks to the vacation home’s immediate proximity to the expansive forest, nature lovers are invited to go on long hikes. A trip to the Zickersche Alpen is also worth a visit. From there, you’ll have a beautiful view of the entire Mönchsgut region, and with a little luck, you’ll experience an unforgettable sunset in the evening. If you’d like, you can also take the “Rasender Roland” narrow-gauge railway to explore the other Baltic Sea resorts of Göhren, Sellin, and Binz, which are definitely worth a visit.



Even sports-loving vacationers will find plenty to enjoy, as the well-developed bike paths make it very easy to explore the island of Rügen by bike. The Bodden beaches are perfect for kitesurfing and surfing. A kitesurfing school offering courses is located in Baabe. The water park in Sellin, about 2 km away, invites you to linger in its large pool area and sauna, especially when the beach weather isn’t quite as nice.



Near the vacation home is Strandstraße, with numerous cafes and restaurants that invite you to relax and enjoy yourself.



Upon your arrival, fresh towels will be waiting for you, and the beds will, of course, already be made with bed linens.

A parking space is available at the vacation home, and e-bikes can be stored safely in the shed. The public transit bus stop is approximately 500 meters away.
