You need to take your garbage home with you at the end of your stay. The cottage will be left the way you found it. Dishes cleaned and put away.
2 .Quiet hours begin at 11:00pm - 9:00am. Music and voices are to be kept at a reasonable volume.
3. Pets are not allowed on the furniture. They need to be leashed and not left unattended. They need to be cleaned up after inside and outside.

Great cottage on a very peaceful lake. The kids were able to fish and catch and release a bunch of fish right from the dock, and the owner was very easy (and fast) to communicate with. Solid spot!

Truly lovely lakeside cottage

Many thanks to the hosts for a beautiful 2-days at Sonny's! We weren't sure from the photos if the cottage would be so close to the lake, but were thrilled to see that it was steps away with a private sandy beach, picnic table, lounge chairs and dock. We did some canoeing and enjoyed some shallow water wading. Our dog Loki became buddies with the hosts' pup, and that was such a nice bonus for good running in the grassy area. The houses are far enough apart that we felt we had our own quiet space. It's a 10/10 for sure! Thank you again!

Relaxing lakefront cottage

Clean and well equipped cottage. Newly built, towels even provided for the hot tub use. Beautiful lake front property with a beach for the kids. Great fishing. Owner lives next door but is respectful of privacy. Friendly dogs on the property which the kids loved to play with. Would recommend a stay here.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful property, very clean and had everything we needed and more for our family vacation. The property seems new, with very high ceilings and amazing ceiling fans that kept the house cool. Our girls loved visiting the dogs that live next door and very much enjoyed the sandy beach, fire pit and hot tub! Host was very accommodating and helpful Appreciated the little things that were provided that we forgot to pack (ex. bathroom spray, aluminum foil, etc.) Would highly recommend.

Calm and tranquility

Recently built chalet, pretty, equipped and very clean. Located on a large lot with incredible views of the lake. I highly recommend. The only negative point is the large quantity of algae which prevents swimming.

Great place for a small group

The cabin was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The lake was beautiful and great for paddling boats or swimming. It was easy to visit Peterborough from the location. The dogs also made friendly neighbours.

Incredible property

We were here for a wedding in which this was the home base for the bridal party. Fabulous communication with the host. The property itself is very clean, well organized and beautiful. To cap it off the hot tub was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay

Great cottage in peaceful setting

New cottage with pine walls that smell so nice. We were 6 adults and managed fine in the 2BR space. High ceiling makes it feel very spacious. Kitchen very well equipped. Wifi works well. Nice Weber BBQ. Hot tub was very popular and a nice amenity even in the summer as the evenings can be cool. Evenings usually had a nice cool breeze blowing campfire smoke towards the lake. Wood was supplied, also a nice amenity. Canoe and paddleboard were fun for the calm waters. There are a lot of lake weeds in the area but there is a small clear spot right at the beach. Everyone loved the cottage and we had a nice week long reunion.

Beautiful new cabin on the lake

We enjoyed our stay, it is a beautiful cabin and lovely property. We enjoyed the quiet space and well appointed furnishings. Very private area, with a wonderful view of Rice Lake. Would be lovely in the summer too. Thanks for opening your beautiful space to us.
