There was a group of a hockey tournament who were literally running up and down the hallway from approximately 8:00pm until 1:00am laughing, in and out of rooms and the doors would slam shut, yelling. I called at 11:00pm to the front desk to file a noise complaint. At 1:00 in the morning my sister in a different room got into an extremely heated verbal argument in the hallway with adults from that group who were drinking open alcohol. They stated they weren’t even stationed on floor 4. At 1:20 in the morning almost the entirety of 4th floor was in the hallway because of the disturbance. Police were threatened to be phoned. The front desk manager did his best to diffuse the situation however the parents of the children wreaking havoc on 4th floor should have been reprimanded for not supervising their children. Room 414 was one of the rooms whose children were sprinting up and down the hallways and in/out of rooms yelling. I believe the parents congregated in a room and left the children mingle in a separate room; kids will be kids and that’s understandable however there is a limit. I stayed with my 4 year old who was woken up many times because the door across from us (414) was in/out yelling. It’s sad because the hotel itself was great; clean, pool was fun, breakfast was good and the staff was super nice. I wish the noise complaints (we were told that there had been many) wouldn’t have fallen on deaf ears and the very heated altercation would potentially not have happened.
