Tervetuloa The Cedar House, joka sijaitsee Otter Rock! Tämä upea, merenrantahotelli tarjoaa upeat merinäkymät kahdella kerroksella, neljä makuuhuonetta ja kaksi kylpyä ja huone jopa kahdeksalle vieraalle! Voit jopa tuoda suosikki nelijalkaisen pennun mukaasi! Istuessasi hehtaarilla maata, sinä ja perheesi tunnet olosi ainoaksi mailiksi ympäröivään ihmiseen! Pysäköi auto, tartu laukkuihisi ja suunna!

Kun saavut kotiin puun kannella, löydät viihtyisästä huoneesta, jossa on olohuone, ruokasali ja keittiö. Sohva istuu keittiötilaa kohti, ja suuri taulutelevisio istuu lähellä. Viihdy rakkaihisi ja nauti elokuvasta yhdessä illallisen keittämisen aikana! Ruokapöydässä voi majoittaa kaikki vieraasi tai voit nauttia nopeaa kulhoa vilja- tai aamukahvia keittiön tiskiltä. Voit tehdä kaiken haluamasi loman aikana Gulls Nestissä. Keittiössä on jääkaappi, mikroaaltouuni, leivänpaahdin, kahvinkeitin ja uuni / liesi. Huomaa, että tässä kodissa ei ole astianpesukonetta.

Käytävältä löydät kaksi ensimmäistä makuuhuonetta ja niiden jaetun kylpyhuoneen. Kylpyhuoneessa on suihku / amme-yhdistelmä. Molemmissa huoneissa on queen-vuoteet ja televisiot, joten nauti vapaasti myöhäisillan näyttelystä ennen kuin ajetaan uneen!

Pään takaisin olohuoneeseen ja yläkertaan löytää kaksi ylimääräistä makuuhuonetta. Ensimmäisessä huoneessa on kaksi erillistä ja täysi sänky, joka sopii kaikille ryhmäsi lapsille, kun taas toisessa huoneessa on king-vuode. Toinen kylpyhuone on myös tässä kerroksessa, jaettu molempien makuuhuoneiden välillä, suihku / amme-yhdistelmällä. King-makuuhuone tarjoaa vieraille jopa oman parvekkeen nauttia merinäköalalla. Takakansi tarjoaa vieraille ulkokalusteet ja propaani-BBQ: n nauttia lämpiminä kesäkuukausina.

Majoittaessasi The Cedar house -hotellissa, muista nauttia rannasta ja sen läheisyydestä. Devil's Punchbowl, meripuutarhat ja Mo's West ovat mielenkiintoisia nähtävyyksiä, joita sinä ja perheesi rakastavat nähdä! Voit jopa nauttia surffauksesta ja rantakampauksesta Otter Rockissa. Pysähdy surffaamon vieressä kaupungissa oppituntiä varten tai vain tarttumaan uusiin varusteisiin! Voit myös matkustaa etelään Newportiin tutkimaan Nye Beach -aluetta etsittäessäsi uskomattomia ruokia ja kauppoja. Oregon Coast Aquarium on täydellinen kaiken ikäisille tutkittavaksi! Suunta pohjoiseen Lincoln Cityyn ja kävele rannalla lokakuusta toukokuuhun kokeillaksesi onneasi löytääksesi lasikellavan. Löydät sen, pidät sen. This is an older home, which we expected (not an issue). What we did not expect is the poorly maintained cleanliness of the home. It was just me, my elderly mother and toddler son so we all decided to utilize the first floor. My bedroom started off with a serious spider problem with spiders/spiderwebs coming from the lamp shade down into the headboard of the bed and all behind the bed. I addressed this with management and they sent a maintenance man to come spray and remove all the webs/spiders (who also agreed we should not have to worry about something like this on vacation). The bathroom smelled strongly of urine. We attempted to clean up and vacuum after finding all this and the vacuum was very old and hardly working well. Management sent a new one once that was addressed. We had to do a thorough clean of that room and my mother’s. Along with the living room that had dog hair all in the carpet and couch since my son is all over the place due his age. All this could have been prevented with proper maintenance and cleaning of the home, which would have provided a more relaxing stay. Being 5 months pregnant with a small son this was the last thing I wanted to do on vacation. The home does have a nice view but for the price that was paid, I expected to at least have a clean home. If you have small ones, allergies to any sort of dust/pet dander I would consider elsewhere.

The location was a perfect place to explore a good section of the beach and be close to amenities in and around Newport, Yaquina Head, Agate Beach, and Depoe Bay. We only spent 3 nights and exhausted ourselves exploring some of the possibilities. We had some rough weather and higher surfs that kept us from exploring some tide pools and the inside of Devils Punchbowl, but we were still very satisfied with visit. Thank you for the stay!

Absolutely great stay! Was a tiny bit off the beaten path which we liked. It was within a mile of the Devil's Punchbowl and sweeping views. Highly recommend for photographers and anybody who appreciates the best that Oregon has to offer in the way of beaches and viewpoints. Recommend wholly!

Cedar house

The location and being secluded were great. Had a view of the ocean from the deck. The kitchen was stocked pretty well also. That was the good things. The place was smaller than it was portrayed. The stairs were very dangerous and the place wasn't clean.the rooms all had bedding from 1980 and the carpet in the house was old and disgusting. Only place to sit was at the dining table in chairs that were falling apart or a love seat in the main room. Overall it was a big disappointment and the price for such a run down place is crazy

It was a very secluded and cozy. Great view of the beach. Kitchen and living room area was super nice to hang out in. Maybe a little dated but it’s a beach house on the Oregon coast and the proximity to things we wanted to do was great. Would stay there again and again.

Good and bad

Property location is amazing. Easy access to the beach. Isolated. Previous reviews mentioned musty smell and it exists but you can tell the ground floor has recently been upgraded. New floors in common areas, new kitchen and paint. But all of the bedrooms have old or no carpet and there was visible dirt in corners in upstairs bedroom. Beds were in need of upgraded mattresses. We enjoyed our stay but hope they continue to upgrade bedrooms. The general dirty old carpets and dirt in corners needs to be addressed. The washing machine was not working and management company was responsive. They couldn’t fix it but tried.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!

This place was dirty. Piles of dog hair and cobwebs in the corners upstairs. Closets are creepy and furniture in front of them which adds to the creepiness. Like why are they blocked? Also most are off hinges. Beds and pillows are super uncomfortable. I tried to just enjoy my stay and deal with trying to get some of our money back later because I didn’t want to spend my trip complaining but don’t do that either. You have to be ON SITE to get any communication apparently. Beach access is down the road which wasn’t bad but the house just ugh. We will not book with this host anymore. Also for the record I complained first about the house while I was there and never got an answer. I shouldn’t have to spend a ton of time trying to call someone when I’m on my trip!!!! I also took photos of the pieced together walls and flooring and dirt oh and check your “pillow” for termites before you go to sleep. Ewwwwwww!!!

Great getaway!

I’m not sure why people have left such scathing reviews on this place, they must’ve fixed the sewage issue becuase it only smelled a little musty, which is to be expected in an old unique coastal house such as this. The walk down to the beach was totally do-able as long ans you anre anble-bodied and the views and breeze off the back patio were magical!

Beautiful views with peaceful setting.

My wife and I recently stayed. The views were great and the house was in a very quiet and peaceful setting. Very convenient to both Depoe Bay and Newport. The house was older but the kitchen was very modern and well supplied. We travel frequently and my wife said that this was her favorite stay. Mostly because of the beach access and peaceful atmosphere. We would definitely stay again. Mike & Kirstin

Not as expected

The house was not very clean and smelled very musty, there were dead flies, spider webs and nests. The kitchen was very clean and I enjoyed cooking in it, the view was amazing but there is absolutely no beach access.

Toxic odor

The location and the view were amaing! But the house had a horrific toxic odor! Mold mildew poison.. not 100% sure what it was. It was so bad we started feeling ill. We ended up leaving a day early because we couldnt handle it anymore . Pretty much ruined our entire trip.. Great location. Great view! House needs some serious TLC. TOXIc ODOR !!

Beautiful coastal view

Our coastal visit was so peaceful and enjoyable! We loved sitting on the deck for coffee and some meals while watching for whales with our binoculars. The beach was a close walk down. The older ones of us had hiking poles, and the toddler maneuvered the trail ok. The location of the house was close for visiting Devil’s Punchbowl and Newport areas. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking our meals.

Dirty and stinky

The house was absolutely filthy and stank of sewage. We had to wash all the silverware, dishes and pans before we could use them because everything was covered in a greasy, sticky film. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and the sheets smell dank and musty. The upstairs toilet wobbles, there are cobwebs everywhere, half the blinds are broken, parts of the subfloor are exposed with nails sticking out, etc, etc. We started calling this house 'the gift that keeps on giving' because of how many issues we kept encountering. It was easy to check in and the location is great, but the house itself is a health hazard.

Wonderful Retreat

This property was fantastic! Mountain surroundings with an ocean view. We watched whales from the deck everyday. Home was rustic cabin but extremely clean. Whole process was wonderful. We will definitely be looking into renting this one again. Theresa

Great location!

We really loved being able to walk right down to the beach. House was cozy with plenty of space for everyone to sleep. There’s not much space for seating in the living room but we spent most of our time outside anyways. Would come back again!
