Alpine Chalet # 11 Half Loft

Pysy tässä hahmoissa täytetyssä, koiran ystävällisessä, yhden makuuhuoneen Otter Rockin lomamökissä Alpine Chalets -yhteisössä, vain etelään Depoe Bayn rannalta. Klassisen rannan retreat-kalusteet, merinäköala aivan olohuoneesta ja mukavuuksista, kuten WiFi, kaapeli ja TV, rannallaolosi on sekä ikimuistoinen että rentouttava jopa kuudelle hengelle!

Heti pysäköintialueelta löydät polun alas Beverly Beachin hiekkaan. Rannalla vain muutaman askeleen päässä, voit mennä varhain aamulla rannalla jogs koiran kanssa, pakata piknik lounas nauttia hiekkaa, tai vain katsella talvimyrskyn veden yli olohuoneen ikkunoista. Sieltä päiväretket läheisiin yhteisöihin kuten Depoe Bay, Lincoln City ja Newport ovat vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä.

Avoin pääalue on viihtyisä olohuone, mukavat huonekalut, ruokailutila ja täydellinen keittiö. Kaiken paitsi astianpesukoneella (vain anna niiden ruukkien ja kattiloiden liota, kun työskentelet illallisella kävelyllä rannalla), voit pyyhkiä herkullisia loma-aterioita! Ja jos et halua kokata, noutakaa myllyä Mo's Westissä - se on vain korttelin päässä.

Siellä on tiukka makuuhuone, jossa on queen-size-vuode ja parvi, toinen queen-vuode. Tämä Otter Rock -huvila voi yöpyä mukavasti neljän hengen huoneissa, joissa voi majoittua korkeintaan kuusi. Koirat ovat tervetulleita, vaikka per yö peritään koiralta ja vähimmäismaksu per oleskelu. Description & photos very misleading.Property needs maintenance(seePhotos).The stairs to the loft are very steep with very little room at the bottom between the last step & the wall. In order to go to the bathroom at night you must go down the steep stairs in the dark & go through the other bedroom. Zero Privacy.The picnic, BBQ area & beach access is extremely difficult & dangerous, on a scale of 1 -10, 10 being a sher cliff. I would give the access a solid 8. The rentals are right on hwy 101 so there is alot of trafic noise.We felt the stairs & beach access was too dangerous for us to take a chance on so we rented a hotel room & drove back to Spokane the next day.Lesson Learned

My 17-year-old daughter and myself stayed here for three nights for spring break. Although the cabin was dated and needed some work, the shower was new and very clean and the kitchen counters and refrigerator work clean. We took our dog and felt very comfortable with him there. There is a short walk to the beach which is on a lovely trail. If you walk towards the devil's punch bowl you can go up steps and visit a very delightful coffee House.

The check in was a bit late maybe bumping that up to 2pm would be nice but I know only a couple people are stuck cleaning all 11 chalets. Loved this place and the beach was super close a nice little walk down. I had an emergency so didn't get to stay my whole stay but I would love to visit again. Great location in between depoe Bay and Newport.

Well equipped, clean. Very outdated. Did not expect only access to bathroom to be through bedroom. With 4 adults… Nice beach access. Fan did not work. But, overall, it was fine. I do think it needs some updating.

the rental was great, I will point out the little stuff to help make it a better experience, even with these little things existing I would rent it again for sure. 1. the bathtub does not drain : end up standing in water 2. windows that don't lock, the pole on the front windows needs to be longer 3. when you use the microwave it trips the breaker 4.the bedroom main light switch docent work, touchey 5. the large hardware holding up the stars has started to back out.

Location is the only great thing about this place. I had read the previous reviews and wanted to believe that the problems had been fixed. The manager Lance was quick to point out he took care of the outside. Anything past the door was the owners responsibility who is in Missouri. The minute the door opened the mildew smell hit us. Then the dirty rugs and floor we’re terrble. I cleaned for an hour only to discover shameful problems. Mouse dropping’s and black mold. They had covered the mold partially with white paint. They did a bad job to say the least. We stripped the beds and used our own linens due to hair and bugs. I am a VRBO owner and am upset that this is allowed to be rented. We left on day 2. It is unsafe and unclean. A refund would be the only positive thing that could happen. I’m not sure who collects the cleaning fee. I deserve to be paid that seeing how I cleaned more than anyone had in months.

This location is great, but there were about 10 years worth of long cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, the couch was grossly stained and had large tears with the foam showing. Desperately need new furniture, couch and chairs were so old and not comfortable. Bathroom had mold on ceiling and in shower. Blinds had pieces missing. We just stayed out and about as long as possible and just slept at the chalet as it was kinda gross and uncomfortable to hang out there. Sad, there’s a lot of potential, new furniture and a deep, deep clean and it could be a cute little place. We are not super picky but we’re very disappointed. Perhaps that’s what to except for the low price per night, but . . . Not sure if all the chalets were this way?

The lock on the cabin door was incredibly frustrating to use. We would stand there for 2-3 minutes each time, wiggling the key in the lock and hoping it would eventually open. There was sand in the downstairs bed, and all the blankets had human and animal hair all over them.

When looking for an affordable (other than camping) family retreat, this met most expectations. Gently used furniture, comfortable beds. Only second time using Home Away services but seemed service fees increased considerably with them almost equaling the nightly fees of cabin.

This is a cute little cabin complex close to Newport. The compound has many amenities and a bonus was the box of toys for the kids to play with on the beach.

Our family of three loved the location. The cabin we stayed in was close to the road and next time we would stay in a different one to avoid road noise. Cabins are cozy but could use some simple updates. Also had some trouble with the key to our door. Rose was very friendly and tried to help fix but it never worked and we couldn't lock our room. Thankfully was never worried about this since we felt safe leaving our things. Town is easy to get to and lots of walks and views to take in. Great place for kids.

We got a really good price, which was a good thing. This is not premium accommodations. There were some spider webs up high in the window sill and ceiling. The towels were well used, not at all new. The layout was fine, nice little kitchen and dining table. The walk-in shower was nice instead of dealing with a tub to stand in. The furniture was old and well used but clean. The beds were comfortable but Queens instead of Kings. Didn't use the pull-out couch. The location was really convenient to what were were doing at the coast and I really liked the beach access and picnic areas. This unit is really close to the highway and you could hear it through the windows, but it wasn't a terribly busy week when we were visiting so it wasn't bad.

We arrived and had no door code, the very nice and helpful manager looked at our reservation, glad I printed it, and than let us in. I received the door code the next day. First thing that hit me was the smell, musty-mildew, so I opened all the windows. On close inspection, minor repairs were needed, like window locks and screens, the couch was stained and could have been cleaned. No linens were provided for the sofa bed, so we used the one pillowcase and blanket provided, but the blanket didn't smell clean. I washed all the dishes before we used them as they didn't look clean. I didn't get to the loft as I don't do stairs and neither does my sister, but my daughter said it was nice once they found the plug in for the lights. Dog-friendly yes, beach trail yes, room for six- no, just barely room for four and the kitchen is not equipped (dishes, glasses,etc) for more than four. Looked like repairs were in process, maybe a washer/dryer in the bathroom? or fixing the board that sticks out on the bed, hit my shins more than one time, lock for bathroom door? Would I recommend this place, no, would I stay again, no. Did I make the best of it and try for a good time anyway, yes! Way overpriced for what we got. It could have been better, I will ask yelp and tripadvisor before review first before booking next time.
