”2 mins walk from the beach where there are some inflatable games for children. It is situated right in the shopping area with restaurants, cafés, ice creams and waffles parlours and boulangeries. Super clean and comfy. We enjoyed our stay. Be aware that there is no elevator. ”

The communication from the hotel was great and they were very accommodating when we asked for a room on a lower floor. The parking is a bit tight so would recommend booking in advance. ”We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. ”
