”We were able to check in a couple of hours early which was a bonus . We were greeted on arrival by the lovely host Melanie whom gave us info of the area and showed us on a map. The accommodation was outstanding, the photos do not do it justice at all. The little extras like the tea bags , milk in the fridge, fruit and croissants were all a really lovely touch. We had planned to walk a lot and see the sights , there is a bus stop almost outside the property which gets you to the train...

”The Black Boy was a lovely stay in an original pub. The staff were lovely, as well as helpful, the pub was a short walk from shops and cafes. And the staff graciously called us a taxi into Oxford. We stayed here for a wedding in Oxford and it was the perfect stay. The room was very clean, well stocked with tea and coffee, and the local soaps were nice in the clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was great, too, with a proper full English breakfast. ”

”Beautiful house in the old town, historic place - but with modern comfort (new Bathroom, cozy bed ...). They did a great job restoring it! We had a tiny kitchen with fridge, tea/coffee, a sitting room and there even was a fan. We didn't get the welcome email, but we just gave them a call and everything was handled perfectly. If you have problems with stairs, you should know there are two sets, the last quite narrow, because it's an old house. We would love to stay here again - highly recommend!...

”Juuri remontoitu, hyvin varusteltu kodikas majoitus, joissa yhteiset tilat olivat vapaasti vieraiden käytettävissä. Keittiö, ruokailuhuone ja puutarha oli mukava bonus ja aamulla oli kiva aloittaa kahvittelu linnunlaulua kuunnellen. Perheellämme oli käytössä kaksi huonetta alakerrasta. Sisäänkirjautuminen toimi hyvin koodilla, henkilökuntaahan paikan päällä ei ollut. Pieni kauppa vieressä. Oikein mukava yleisilme ja tilavahkot kylppärit.”

”Lot of stairs, narrow corridors and doors, quite a labyrinth. Not so in negative sense, just different. Room was ok, clean, but bed wasnt my kind. Too soft for my taste. No breakfast, but nearby many bars where you get one. Easy way to get up and start your day. So, nice basic place to stay for nights. When travelling you anyway dont spend time in hotel room but need a place to sleep, clean and keep your stuff. Just in the heart of the city! ”

”A lovely family-run guest house. Everything about the property is fantastic. They are helpful and kind. You can walk downtown or cross the street and take the bus, which passes every 10 minutes. There are shops, restaurants, and supermarkets close by. The room was clean and cosy.”

”Practical code check in. Nice with a small kitchen available Carpet needs replacing, it was not clean upon arrival. Could have cleaned better in the bathroom too. Someone downstairs was smoking, which filled the entire stairwell, had to went our room as well. Good location for tourists, as it lies in walking distance of Christ Church.”

”A few blocks north on Abingdon Rd is a great pub at Head of the River. About 10 min walk north on Abongdon Rd is a Tesco Express food market. Only a 20-min walk north brings you to High Street, Quenn Street, and Broad Street.”
