The Space:

Enjoy oceanfront access and amazing views when you stay at this classic Pacific City vacation rental! With wide windows that frame an ocean view, this clean and comfortable home has been thoughtfully designed to be a picture-perfect Oregon Coast retreat.



The living area is open and spacious, with an old-fashioned wood stove to keep you warm and cozy even on rainy winter nights. There's a big-screen TV with cable for entertainment and the home has freeWiFi for when you want to plug-in.



Just around the corner from the living area is the open kitchen and dining area, an ideal spot to socialize while you cook up a fresh seafood feast from the local market. All of these common spaces (living, dining, and kitchen) are located up on the top floor, making the most of the home's lovely ocean views.



This spacious retreat has four bedrooms and four full baths, making it incredibly comfortable to share with a group of up to eight guests - and your dogs, for a small nightly fee. The master bedroom has a king bed, comfortable sitting area, its own flatscreen TV, and a private bath with his-and-her sinks and a gorgeous standalone shower. The remaining three bedrooms each have comfortable queen beds, and a lower-level den has another TV and a wet bar with a fridge, sink, and microwave - it's the perfect spot for the kids to hang out and watch movies while the adults relax by the fireplace upstairs.



When the weather's nice, the home's expansive second-story deck offers an excellent area to relax with a bottle of wine and take in the views. There's also a gas grill provided for summer barbecues. When you want to get even closer to the beach, simply head down the stairs to a trail leading to the sand!



Pacific City offers great hiking and biking areas as well as beautiful beaches galore. Explore famous Haystack Rock, go whale watching or take a surf lesson. There's a wealth of local dining and shopping options in the area as well.

This was by far the best house on this beach. Almost every other home had very strap or no Beach access, yet we had an easy trail right to the water. The views from the kitchen, deck, and dining area were unmatched! The house is a little worn, but very clean and we will do it again for the location location location!

It was a great house for the family get together. Clean and pleasant. There were some issues (which didnt impact our stay but I am including so the manager is aware. These were several broken blinds and large stains on basement carpet. Also some minor wall damage which appeared to be caused by a recliner near the wall. Main bedroom toilet also "ran" after flushing but could be managed bt jiggling the handle. Again, these had no negative impact on our stys and certainly would recommend this for a fun family or friend gather.

Amazing location with a beautiful view from the entire upper floor. Wonderful access to the beach literally steps from the backyard. Very quiet, beautiful soft sand, public beach just beyond the rental.The upstairs includes a primary bedroom with attached bath and king bed. An additional bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom across the hall. Living room, dining room, and large kitchen as well as a deck. The living room deck, kitchen, and dining room all have amazing ocean views.Downstairs is another living area lots of opportunity to separate space if there’s multiple families staying at the property. Downstairs there’s a laundry room a bathroom, another living area and two bedrooms one with an attached bath.The home is definitely pet friendly and has seen some wear, there’s broken window coverings ripped furniture, significant staining on the downstairs carpet and scratches on the doors and walls.The kitchen is very large, but minimal in terms of spices or cooking oil. There is a blender, pans, coffee filters, and basic utensils with a small amount of dishwasher soap. But lots of room in the kitchen for multiple people to be in there at the same time.There are beach towels and laundry soap in the laundry room.The Internet is really problematic. The Wi-Fi kept going out and the kids couldn’t even watch a full movie downstairs at the Roku TV. If you need reliable Wi-Fi for work, I would not recommend this property. The home was sparse, no sand, toys, books or games.

Friends winter getaway

Great location. Layout of house is awesome. Nice sitting area both upstairs and a small one downstairs. Only suggestion is there are only 6 chairs for the dining table and a few stools but if everyone wants to play a game, it's not comfortable for all

Great for a family reunion

We stayed with our adult children and their partners. The set up of the house was perfect for a multi-generational family, especially with the extra downstairs sitting area and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The view is definitely better than the photos. The only downside for us was that there's actually kind of a cliff between you and beach. The dune west of the house is quite steep with a 15 foot drop so you really have to walk or drive about .4 mile along the road to the beach access either to the north or south. It wasn't a problem for us but was a surprise.

Unbeatable location and great view

Great location - a quick walk to beach. Huge picture windows with incredible views and lots of space for 2 families of 4. The property is dated but I didn’t mind. Carpet in the basement needs to be replaced. Other than that, it was well stocked in the kitchen (except it needs more dish towels) with a huge cozy area in the living room to sit and chat or read books. Beds were comfortable. Oh, if you do come make sure to bring your own lawn chairs for sitting on the beach. They didn’t have any.

Lovely views

Unfortunately Covid kept my husband and I from staying here however our 5 friends did. After a minor snafu with lock, requiring a conversation with vRBO which resolved issue, the stay went well. It was reported that the dishwasher filter should be cleaned and machine bolted in. One bath faucet was leaking and windows wouldn’t open. Otherwise comfortable beds, ample room, nice kitchen , good lighting and beautiful views. Would stay again.

Birthday get away

Proximity to the beach was amazing and exactly what we were hoping for. Bigger than what we needed for 4.... 2 rooms weren’t even used.. next time we will bring the rest of the family.. loved that I could go for a run on the beach and not see anyone… such a pleasant surprise as I was expecting crowds.

Great view and location but the house needs a lot of repairs, paint touch ups and some parts of it just didn’t look clean. Would book again though for the view.

Recent upgrades are nice!

The owners recently swapped out carpet for laminate flooring, which is really nice! Much easier to keep clean and great when you have dogs. The property is better than the listing shows in my opinion. Super functional with great ocean views and beach access. Bring your own condiments as you’ll only find salt and pepper here.

Great House for Gathering Family

The location was wonderful for easy beach access and direct views of the waterfront. We enjoyed cooking together and found most of what we needed in the kitchen. It might be a good idea to bring outdoor chairs, as there are only a couple on the deck besides the picnic table seating. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the house and on the beach.

Perfect location . Four bedrooms/four baths suited our family needs. I had to buy a pack and play for the 2 year old and left it for future visitors. House does need some TLC. Carpet in LR torn and dirty. A previous leak under kitchen sink was not fixed before our arrival . We were unaware that pipes were leaking until the bowl placed under sink ran over spilling into kitchen. This MUST be fixed before another occupant arrives. Bed spreads also needed cleaning and replacement of blankets with holes. BUT, overall we loved the place and would book again if these issues are fixed.

Dog friendly, kid friendly, but change the flooring

I am torn on this review. Pro's: great house layout for two families, love that they accept pets, kids and dogs have great space in back to play in sand while being supervised, great views. Con's: this house would GREATLY benefit from changing the flooring to dog friendly vinyl or some hard flooring throughout that easily and thoroughly cleans dogs potential messes. Being a dog friendly unit does not mix well with old carpet. The bedroom we stayed in smelled strongly of urine. Property management was exceptionally polite and responsive and "deodorized" the room, but then it kinda smelled like deodorizer covering urine the whole time. The rest of the place is not fancy, but totally fine. The only other con is there are horseback tours that go along the beach and leave "presents" that the dogs kept wanting to eat. Just a little frustration, but not a game changer. It was overall a great trip for both of our families!

Pacific City house was all that we could ask for!

A family reunion at this house was just what the doctor ordered! It fit our needs to a T. Big kitchen made group meal prep easy. The downstairs was great for those needing a quiet space to work or nap. The deck and the view of ocean were second to none! Pretty much all we needed was there at the house so we hope to do it again next year.
