”We were able to check in early and offered free parking as some unexpected council water works were proceeding that night. Our child then fell critically ill needing hospitalization by pure chance. Cant thank the night duty guy enough who went above and beyond to help change bedding at 3am and provide extra linen. Prior to this full kitchen and views to ocean and generous living space were enjoyed!”

”Hands down one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Stayed in the deluxe king ocean and the view was incredible! The rooms were clean, the staff were nice and the amenities were so well maintained. Highly highly highly recommend if you are coming to the Gold Coast since it is right by the beach and walkable to a lot of places! Will come back for sure!”

”This hotel is located perfectly right in the heart of Broadbeach. The moment you walk out the door , you have eateries, restaurants, bars , clubs even a supermarket & chemist ALL within 200m !! The rooms are exceptionally clean, very friendly & helpful staff. A definite must stay if you're traveling on the Gold Coast. Will definitely visit again some day.”

”The Star was convenient to the conference centre which was our reason for booking but otherwise you would only go there if you were going to the casino. The room was small and a bit run down. There were some holes in the ceiling that we had to ask to get covered. There would be better places to stay if you are holding in Broadbeach.”

”Hotel is very nice and clean, beds are awesome with Pillows that I can't find in shops, we had a sea view room, which was well worth it. But for some reason the room had no heating option, and with 14 deg evenings in Winter this was on the borderline of comfort.”

”Our room only had air con in lounge and was very noisy. Bedspread had huge burn hole insufficient blankets no pool towels and very basic kitchen”

”Location is good - walking distance to a range of dining options. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Room and all other areas we used were clean and comfortable. Breakfast provided a fantastic range of options and was fresh and tasty.”
