My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay over the weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Glennis, Jagger, and Dave, which set the tone for a relaxing and memorable visit.

”The hotel was nice and clean. We booked an extra night and had to change room, all went smoothly. There was a seaview as the neach is really close. Also a nice small poolarea. Staff was very friendly. There was no restaurant, but we had very good breakfast in a restaurant next door. ”

Can feel a little bit exposed, the lacy blinds are a little bit too see through.
Would also be really nice if there were hooks by the door to hang coats etc.

”Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special.
Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it).

”Great place - we got the 2 bedroom suite. The balcony view was amazing, the kitchen with a full sized fridge freezer was very useful to us as we were travelling with kids. The beds were comfortable and the parking below was very easy to use. The suites are almost on the beach, a 1 min walk away from the playground and a takeaway, 3 mins walk to the woolworths and a 3 minute drive away from the other cafes, restaurants and the ferry.
The only thing that would have pushed this to a full 5*...
”Excellent. Very convenient. Room was spacious and well-equipped. Staff was very nice. We actually couldn't make it for the first night because of a change in plans so we tried to contact the hotel but couldn't get through. When we arrived the next day, we did not get any funny looks or stares. We just got the same nice, courteous service we would expect. Plus, the location cannot be beat. Right on the beach. You can literally see the ocean from here! And feel that nice sea breeze wafting through...
