”This is a really beautiful place and the room was enormous and the layout was so in keeping with the heritage level of the building. There was a tea set for tea or coffee, a king sized bed, a sofa for relaxing and a bath. Total luxury!”

”Very cozy motel, spacious rooms. Gentleman in the reception very friendly. Good location. Only minus thing is that the WIFI didn’t work at all in bedroom, only in the livingroom side. Also, same problem that can be found in many hotels: no plugs next to bed where you could charge the phone during the night and use alarm clock. ”

”Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. John ist sehr aufmerksam und gibt Tipps für Unternehmungen und Umgebung. Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich. Kleine Küchenzeile ist auch vorhanden. Ich war in Einheit 7 und hatte von der Terrasse aus Blick aufs Wasser. Nur die Live Musik am Wochenende von nebenan hat etwas gestört aber das lag daran, dass die Dame einfach nicht singen konnte. ”

”The room we stayed in (#3) was featured on their Expedia page and on their website and looked very good as far as motels are concerned, but we're pretty sure the photo was taken many, many years ago because everything in the room was just old and worn. The sheets and blankets were stained, and my husband was dubious as to whether they were even cleaned, so we ended up sleeping fully clothed. We didn't sit on the sofa because it was stained. ”Great spot, great host that second visit there has always been delightful to stay at so happy to make this a permanent spot for when I need to travel north and spend the night. Neighbouring restaurant was a bit of a let down sadly.”

Super nice hosts, easy walk to the historic part of town, good wifi/tv, large, comfortable bed, wonderfully dark and quiet at night, easy parking.
