”Well, Franco is what really makes the stay. He gives all sorts of tips and advice for what to visit and where to go and even books restaurants for you. That being said the masseria is a bit in the middle of nowhere. The dog Diana is the highlight of the stay. She is always there to welcome you when you return to the property. ”What a gem in Matera! Easy to get to, not to many stairs. (It's Matera, so of course there are some) It took 7-8 minutrs from the parking garage. Short way to Piazza de Sedile with cafes and restaurants nearby. We had the spa room. It was lovely to jump into the small pool after a warm day. The room was spotless and clean. When you stepped outside and walked around the corner, you had a lovely view of Matera. We loved it. And if you are worried about the noise from the pool; you can turn it off...
