  • Meet Me in Palm Springs at this comfortable, light-filled home in the perfectly central El Mirador neighborhood, where you'll enjoy fantastic indoor and outdoor living spaces within walking distance of downtown. This four-bedroom home has been outfitted for entertaining, offering a lovely backyard where you can lounge by the pool, unwind in the hot tub, and grill, dine, and swing in the hammock with a commanding view of the mountains. At night, four contemporary bedrooms await to give you a restful night's sleep: a private master suite with a king-size bed and a gas fireplace and three guest bedrooms with a queen-size bed apiece.

    WHAT'S NEARBY
    This home is located in El Mirador, a desirable neighborhood in central Palm Springs immediately east of downtown. You'll be able to walk to Palm Canyon Drive (half a mile west) and its many acclaimed restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, theaters, and bars, as well as the public tennis courts at Ruth Hardy Park (three-quarters of a mile south). If you're a golfer, take your pick from more than 100 world-class golf courses in the area; if you're a hiker, spend a day exploring the gorgeous desert landscapes of Tahquitz Canyon (three miles south) and Indian Canyons (six miles south).

    Things to Know
    -Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
    -The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.
    -Pool heat is optional at this home. The request to heat the pool should be done at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. Please call us to pay for pool heat. The cost will be $49/day.
    Please note: The hot tub fee is automatically billed to your reservation at $15/day.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay over thanksgiving. The property is well located, though we drove vs walked to most places. The house was charming and comfortable with multiple areas to hang out and relax. The weather was too cold to enjoy the pool but the hot tub was nice. It comfortably fits 4-6 people.

Stay in Palm Springs

Great hotel for a 3 day family getaway including the dogs. Easy location to Downtown, golf courses and the tram is down the street. Nice house.

Great place!

This house has everything: pool, hot tub, TVs in living room, family room, and every bedroom, great mattresses. There was plenty of room for the seven of us. Super clean.

Quiet Comfortable home

We loved the double suites. I spent lots of time in the hammock. The neighborhood was wonderful for safe walking. The suites and great outdoor areas make working remote comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Close to a park and walkable to grocery store and a few restaurants. Would like to stay here again.

Nice older house in great location

Enjoyed our stay at this large house with a big, enclosed backyard, great for our dog. The house is dated with a unique decorative style but clean. Separate seating/tv and sleeping areas great for families with teenagers or two couples. Terrific location near Ruth Hardy Park and beautiful Desert Healthcare Wellness Park and walking distance or quick drive downtown. The host communicated well and was quick to respond when we had an issue with a fireplace.

House was great. North bathroom toilet is running. Fire Alarms ⏰ seem to have a mind of their own. Going off in the bedroom at 4 in the morning. Otherwise everything was great!

Unstable Electricity

While this home was aesthetically beautiful, our stay was impacted by significant maintenance issues. One of the guest bathrooms was unusable for two days due to a broken toilet, and the electrical system was highly unstable. We couldn’t use the kitchen microwave or the washing machine without causing power disruptions throughout the house, which persisted for our entire five-day stay.Their rental team was very responsive and helpful during our visit, which we truly appreciated. However, since our departure, I have reached out regarding these concerns and have yet to receive any response. Reliable electricity is a basic expectation for any rental, and I hope the homeowner addresses these issues for future guests.

Palm Springs Vacation

We had a great time and it was a great house to entertain in. Loved it! Only downsides. The master bathroom has no door! That was a big one. And two, the pool was a mess when we got there but we called and they had someone out the following morning to clean it. It was perfect after that. We would definitely come back but please! Put a door on the bathroom!

Dirty Dishwasher

The rental was clean in the major ways of the beds, towels and high touch surfaces. The dish washer had big chunks of food in it and not was clean. The plates and cups were not very clean and needed a pre washing before we used it. The inside of the refrigerator needed a cleaning as well before we put our food in it. The space was good and worked well for our group. The patio and pool was a good space to relax and have outside. The master bedroom needs a real door. There is a swing door at the hallway and is not ideal for privacy in such a big house with other people if you want some alone time or napping.

Overalll, great time with maintenance issues

The home was very specious and sits on a large corner lot. . The AC was not working when we arrived at 4.PM. They sent a technician who was on the property for hours troubleshooting and running the heat so the house was very uncomfortable for about 5 hours the first night. Maintenance is an issue. Light bulbs were burned out. Batteries for items such as clocks were dead. The paint on the hot tub deck was peeling. One of the chaises by the pool was broken. We overlooked all of this and had a great time.

Dirty and Not Maintained - Avoid This One!

Vacasa told us to expect to receive access information to our rental unit between 3:45pm – 4:00pm for our 4pm check-in. We arrived at the condo at 4pm with no information received from Vacasa. We called them and after the guy checked with others while on the phone he came back and said the information was sent by email and text. I told him I received no text and no email and confirmed that while on the phone with him. We finally received the information while on the phone at 4:15. The instructions were so bad, it took us a half hour to figure out the key codes and locate the lock box which was back in an unlit dark corner of the house. We finally got in at 4:45pm. We took a quick tour of the home to find a large dead mouse in the master bath whirlpool tub with numerous droppings. The refrigerator freezer was totally frosted up to the point where the ice maker could not work. One of the guest bathrooms had what appeared to be vomit spray around the garbage can where someone must have missed. It was very obvious that this house was NOT properly cleaned before our arrival. We contacted Vacasa and within a couple of hours the mouse was removed, the droppings were cleaned up, the freezer frost was half cleaned up – not the ice maker and the vomit was not cleaned up. The cleaning person told us that the cleaning fee of $209 would be refunded to us. We subsequently also found that the hot tub in the patio area was filthy – lots and lots of white scum floating in the water - gross. This hadn’t been cleaned for weeks, or months. The front entry light to the house did not work so it was difficult to see the key pad to punch in the code each time and insert the key. The master bedroom toilet would run periodically throughout our stay – the second night it ran every 7 minutes for two hours straight. I tried to turn the water source off so we could at least sleep at night, but it was rusted shut. The two lamps which was the only light in one of the other bedrooms did not work. I found two loose bulbs on top of the laundry closet and tried those – luckily they worked. The refrigerator freezer part of the side-by-side leaked during our stay – probably from all of the frost -so we kept a towel on the floor to keep this mopped up. I reported most of these additional items on our second 24 hours there, and didn’t get a response until over 24 hours later when we were touring Joshua Tree National Park – no cell signal. By the time we got back that evening, we were already leaving the next morning. After we checked out of the house on our last day, I received a call from Vacasa telling us they would refund the cleaning fee of $209, the hot tub fee of $60 and would round up the total refund to $450 for all of the other issues. A total of $450 out of $3,000 we paid for the four days. That’s all – I was expecting a lot more. Well it gets worse. We have received Nothing so far. I have called the representative Alexa who promised us the refund the last two days and she has not returned my call. We have had very good results with VRBO and Airbnb. This was our second time with VACASA and it will be our last. We will be reporting this situation to the City of Palm Springs and the California Attorney General. Vacasa should not be allowed to operate in this state when they perform like this.
