”Checking in was easy, staff were friendly. The room has been renovated and was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Free parking and close to Stanford University is a plus. There is constant traffic noise from the street but at manageable level. Overall very good experience, especially for the price. ”

”Clean and comfortable stay The room was clean and nicely maintained, exactly as pictured. I had a pleasant stay overall. One small note for future guests: the house rules ask you to wash your dishes before leaving, but the only sink available is in the bathroom, which can feel a bit awkward for dishwashing. Not a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of. Would recommend for a short stay.”

”One-hundred-year-old hotel in the heart of Palo Alto, with walking to all the shops, Whole Foods, restaurants and the theater. The rooms are comfortable, the beds very nice, and the staff is terrific. If you don't have a car, it's a perfect location.”

”Decadent please to spend a night. Rooms could be little cleaner, bed was good. Shower was ok. Quite close to road so the sounds of traffic might wake you up.”

”The location and cleanliness of the hotel are okay. The staff at the front desk is helpful and polite but one has to ask for everything first. The breakfast (instant) porridge was not properly made as the water did not absorb into flakes properly. I guess you get what you pay for and I would stay in this hotel again due to its pricing.”
