”My family and I had an exceptional 1 night stay. The space was cozy and the environment quiet and relaxing. The owner and host was a pleasure speaking to. The only issue was the limited signage especially for a night arrival.”

”The staff was very friendly and engaging. The room was cleaned. Dinner and Breakfast was good. Overall, if you are looking for a quiet place to get away and relax...this is the place. Bring your games, and your crew and chill😊.”

”Wonderful location, clean, with a very comfortable bed. Older property with only somewhat noisy standing fans to cool - would benefit from quiet ceiling fans. Apparently continental breakfast is complimentary in the rooms, but we weren’t offered this and there were no details about in room dining offered. There were no easy options to get extra water or snacks etc and only one small bottle of water per person per day. You can order extra from the bar, but that seemed to be an unexpected request....

”The home was authentic Jamaican, gated and secure. I arrived late in the day with an emerging dental emergency. The next morning this required immediate attention. The Hostess Tamara walked with me to a nearby Dental Centre to be successfully treated. As I returned and departed for the International Airport, the host Shane taxied me to the airport for a flat $25 rate as advertised, (airport taxis were asking for $35-$45 for the same transport.) The hosts were welcoming, attentive and gracious....

”The owners were so kind and helpful. This is THE hidden treasure of Kingston. Bob Marley beach is walking distance and the rooftop patio was breathtaking. The AC in the rooms was perfect to cool off after a hot day. This hotel also has a bar and the pool is cute and deep enough for the kids to jump in. The rooms are very traditional Jamaican style/decor and VERY clean. The wifi was strong and overall this was a fabulous likkle spot. Mi soon come back”

Nous avons pris un shuttle pour se rendre et revenir au début du sentier de Blue Mountain. Dire que nous étions hébergé chez Jay nous a permis de se sentir en sécurité dans cet environnement retiré”

”Starlight Chalet is a very nice, well maintained classic building with beautiful landscaping. The view is wonderful, especially from upstairs and from the gazebo. The food was very good (but perhaps a bit expensive). The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean and well-maintained. There is no AC, but the temperature at 3500' was much cooler than in the adjacent lowlands so AC was not essential. We went on several birding excursions and found lots of good birds. If you go,...

”Beautifully landscaped property, the unit was well appointed, clean and comfortable. We set up an additional bed in the living room and it worked out perfectly! The hostess was lovely and helpful. I would stay there again!”

”the grounds were well kept. The apt was clean and clean linen was available. But be sure to bring your own TP you get only one roll. The front door was sticking. there was a little problem starting the clothes washer. All else worked. treadmill was broken. their workout space needed updating. AC was in the living room only. None in the bedroom.. The AC had some impact in the bedroom. Could see some mountain view.”

”*SCAM ALERT* I booked this place and paid upfront for 3nights. When it was close to check-in time, I called and was as told over the phone by the host that they do not take last minute bookings. They never refunded me nor answered the rest of my calls.”

”This is a great place for anyone who likes their privacy. They have all of the amenities and the apartment was is in a nice community. Highly recommended!”
