”our room was very spacious. small fridge needs a freezer as well. for ice packs for travel back home. needs a ceiling fan. but, all in all it was a very nice place to stay.”

”The owner, Claudia, was amazing. So helpful and kind. Parking in back was much appreciated, breakfast was freshly made, delicious and served in one of the beautifully decorated common areas. The room was comfortable and clean. The mansion is pre Civil War and furnished accordingly with antiques. If you're looking for modern hotel amenities you will be disappointed, but if you're looking for charm, warmth and a gracious host, you will love Ragland Mansion. Pet friendly as a welcome bonus!”

”Beautiful historic property in a very cute neighborhood. The restaurant and bars were very well staffed, service was excellent and dinner was delicious, get the coconut cake! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice getaway or en route further south. Hoping for an opportunity to visit again.”

”I travel alot and this hotel was such a welcome experience. I was greet so enthusiastic when I entered and I felt that the front desk really cared about my stay. The hotel lobby smelled wonderfully and was very clean. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was wonderful. There is a diverse menu that actually had dishes with real vegetables, not juat burgers and pizza. The breakfast was also top notch. The sercers were personable and attentive. ”Got Walmart ice cream at the front desk for $6.50. They made $5.50 on each one of these. Also selling water they got from Walmart for $2.50 the case of water didn’t even cost that much. Horrible, make sure you have your own snacks or you will be bent over and crammed with a fist full of dollars.”

”The room is very clean, I am very impressed by that, the sofa was a lil wrinkled but it’s fine. Staff was ok, it was late but everything worked out just fine. I’ll definitely recommend. Never had breakfast there as I was too busy so I can’t comment about it but my stag was well spent. The air conditioning was perfect”

”They charge you for parking to a 3rd party app you have to register to after the fact as complete BS and way to tax you when there is no limited space or lack of parking in this wide open rural area. Wake up to find parking ticket on your car after arriving midnight. Hotel, dog, and parking ended up towards $300 for a single night as stop off while commuting FL to CT. Much better places available. Avoid this stupid pllace.”
