Sterling Reef 802 is a beautifully decorated 2BR/2BA BeachFRONT condo! Enjoy amazing Gulf Views of the sugar-white sands and the emerald waters from your large, private balcony as well as the living room, kitchen and master bedroom! This condo features a king bed in the master bedroom with balcony access, a queen bed in the guest room, sleeping 4 guests comfortably. With its breath-taking views and convenient location, Sterling Reef 802 will definitely be your next family favorite vacation destination!

Built in 2005, Sterling Reef is in a fantastic location on Panama City Beach, only .5 miles from Shipwreck Island and within walking distance of the fishing pier. Vacation rentals at this lovely resort have a seasonally heated 4000sqft bi-level pool with waterfall at their disposal, a fitness center overlooking the pool and beach area, an activity room w/ flatscreen TV, and grills on the sky terrace. Watersport rentals are also available.

  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Half Ironman Visit

Stayed here for a quick weekend to do the Gulf Coast 70.3. Close proximity to the event without having to deal with the crowds. Great property with plenty of space.

Definitely would never stay there again or recommend it. The elevators were horrible. The Internet was nonexistent. The master bathroom had a moldy shower curtain and a broken toilet tissue holder. Overpriced.

Amazing Views. Property could have been cleaner.

The location and views were perfect. The staff at Sterling Reef were very friendly. The condo was a bit dirty. If we walked on the floor in our bare feet, they were black with dirt. The shower curtain liners need to be replaced. There was a musty smell throughout the condo. The kitchen could use a few more pots and pans. Overall, we had a nice time, because the location was great but I don’t think we would stay here again.

Good location. Needs a little work.

Good central location. Close to restaurants and shopping and the beach view is fantastic. Needs maintenance on things like towel racks and toilet paper hanger as both were about to fall from the wall. Since the attraction of the property is the beach , it would have been nice to have beach chairs and towels available since many people who would book the property would fly in from out of town. There is a metal frame on the floor under the master bed which is a hazzard. Overall, we were pleased with the property. Thanks.

Nice location

Stay was overall pleasant. Right in the heart so either direction we traveled there was something to see/do/eat/shop. Property Manager was very responsive - brought comforter for 2nd bedroom and replacement batteries for ceiling fan remote. Only 2 issues to complain about: 1. Only one elevator for 18 floors. Took forever to get back up to room. One day it was out of service and we had to walk up 11 flights of stairs (ground, 3 parking levels then our room in 8th floor). Very disappointing. The 2nd elevator was being repaired/rebuilt - that should help. Another suggestion is to add storage locker area on ground floor so people aren't hauling wagons full of supplies to and from room twice a day. 2. Doors and trim were being painted while there. Crew did great job of trying to stay out of people's way but one day we came back and our door was propped open and noone was around keeping an eye on things. We had a few thousand dollars worth of electronics (2 work laptops, printer, headphones, watches, airpods) that were in the room. Thankfully nothing was stolen but it was disappointing to not know our room was accessed and left open. Unit was clean and well appointed. We had a great time!

The property itself is great. Location is the best. The view is amazing. The condo itself was poor. Very dirty, hadn’t be thoroughly cleaned in some time. Baseboard, vents, photos all had thick dust. Bathroom had toothpaste on tub from previous tenant. Mattress covers had stains. Condo is beautiful, just needs to be cleaned. It is a non smoking facility, but my neighbors smoked cigarettes and pot and nothing was done despite multiple complaints.

REAL JOY VACATIONS IS NOT ONSITE

Our stay was rather inconvenient on 1st day, although well aware iof 4 p.m check in, I have never stayed at an VRBO where the rental was set up remotely Because of this inconvenience your competitor was on-site and was kind enough to hold our luggage for six hours It would have been nice to communicate that then your customer would be more prepared Besides that inconvenience the stay was awesome, thanks to the owner care given to there property. Although I always clean up behind myself it was different to be left with so many cleaning rules, when we are paying a cleaning fee, however, we abliged

Could’ve been better

The place it’s self wasn’t too bad. The location was amazing because it was on the beach. We came as a family, there were allot of people who weren’t following the rules. A lot of smoking on the balconies which clearly states isn’t allowed. Also people were throwing stuff at us in the pool while we were swimming with our children. There was plenty of pillows but not enough blankets. Some of the dishes were quite dirty. This is a place I wouldn’t come to again.

Good stay expect for elevators

The condo and rooms were good, and really enjoyed the beach and pools. There were only two elevators for all 19 floors, and one of them was down for the entire week. It took 30-45 minutes to get on the elevator when leaving the beach, and stairs were not an option with a cooler and beach gear.

Perfect home away from home

I truly enjoyed my experience at this property. The condo was amazing. The only con I would have is the elevators are extremely slow. After the first day we jumped on the first available elevator whether it was going up or down. But overall my stay was amazing. My overall goal was to relax and I did. Love the mirror in the kitchen. It’s great for selfies. I have stayed at this property several times and I will continue to do so.

Not recommended at all, the place was stinking like septic tank

This place did not meet our expectations, it was stinking like the septic pipe has burst, every time the condo above us used water, our bathroom started making loud sounds- kept us up at night. We checked out one night early as the kitchen sink leaked two nights ago and we ended up cleaning it ourselves. Worst part is we were not refunded anything…. Stay away from this condo

Alittle disappointed

The condo itself so was nice! Very nice views. Now the amenities on the other hand had/ was a constant problems the 2 elevator never worked walking 8 flights of steps wasn’t ideal daily. Also wish he had none ahead of time that the building had construction going on. Parking was a hassle seeings how they had parking levels blocked off due to construction. Also The amenities stated there was a hot tub on sight which there was none. (Very disappointing)
