  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

Dirty, an hour late letting us check in.

I wish I could post the pictures I have of mold on the ceiling of the property. They were an hour late letting us check in and the property was not in good standing. Currently they are trying push damage that was already done to the place on us. Bad experience. Evidence of painting over mold. Don't recommend.

First issue was the refrigerator wasn’t keeping food / drinks cold and we had to put these items in the freezer. We had to keep an eye the items to make sure they didn’t freeze. Second issue was there was some dirty towels in the bathroom and a dirty dish towel in the sink. Other than these two issues, everything thing else was good

Grand Panama 303

Our condo was much smaller than expected. I’m not sure I would consider that bedroom a “master.” Both bedrooms were very small and there was hardly any room for luggage or anyone to even be in the rooms other than to sleep. The toilet ran the entire time. The towel rack was coming off in the master bathroom, the cabinets were dirty inside, and the closet in the 2nd room was off the hinges. Blankets were thrown into this closet and were not clean. The walls were dirty. I have pictures if needed. The twin beds in the hall were comfortable but it was very noisy with the water heater and air conditioner. There was constant water noise from the toilets. The pull out couch bed was very uncomfortable. The dryer is terrible and needs to be checked. It would take 1 1/2-2 hours to dry one small load. There was no dryer vent and you could see the lint but not get it out. The pool looks big but really isn’t and can feel very crowded. We didn’t even have the opportunity to use the hot tub because it was always full. The parking garage is a nightmare and very hard to park in. I have a small car and could barely fit in the parking spaces. It took 2 different sets of elevators to get to our room and the elevators were always packed and very slow. There were no luggage carts and getting back and forth from the car to the room was never easy. The location was nice and of course the ocean was beautiful. The lady that was there when we checked in on Thursday was very nice and friendly. On Saturday during the day the lady was rude and not very personable. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Cleanliness and Communication Very Sub-Par

There were major issues with cleanliness of the unit. One corner appeared to have urine on the wall. We contacted VRBO and was told to contact Real Joy Vacations. We contacted Real Joy as directed by the Welcome Portal. The issues were NEVER addressed during our stay. The linens were dirty and stained. The AC did not work properly. The couch bed is so bent out of shape it could not be slept on by 2 people. The queen bed was very rickety that they were afraid to roll over for fear of breaking the bed. The balcony was so dirty and gross you couldn't walk barefoot on it. Parking was an issue after dark - even though we had to pay for parking passes. I'm disappointed with VRBO because we didn't get any help from you. When I had an issue with another company's rental, they made sure we were taken care of. I don't think that I will recommend VRBO or Real Joy Vacations to anyone.

Decor very old missing knobs and rugs torn. Needs updating for sure! Beds are very uncomfortable and old. Had an ant issue but manager was quick to address if we wanted them too. Great location as we love grand Panama area. Would not stay at this condo again.

Great view, bad bed

Great view of the pool and beach, balcony is awesome, condo is a little small, wish there was plastic wear for kids, king size bed should be replaced , very worn out and hard, but other beds were fine. Would stay again if king size bed was replaced. But other then that everything was great!

several concerns

This company charges over double for cleaning if you stay over 14 days. That is ridiculous! I have never been charged more for staying a month than staying 2 weeks or less. The cleaning people should be doing the same job no matter how long. It also had the most problems of any unit I have stayed in. TV's not working, DVD's not working, hair dryer almost catching on fire, leaky faucet in kitchen, worn insulation around patio doors causing loud whistle on windy days. Someone is doing a poor job on maintenance. And they charge over double the normal cleaning rate to clean.

Dirty place to stay and not maintained

This was the worse experience we have had staying at a place thru vrbo. Place smelled awful with cigarette smoke. Floors were not clean and even found bottles of trash from previous guest. Dryer didn't work properly. We have a son with asthma and had to have him sleep at another place with family. Terrible experience and will never rent thru realjoy properties again

First time in PCB

I was amazed at how easy check in was. The condo looked just like the pictures. They provided plenty of linens. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The pool is beautiful and it was easy to access the beach. I will definitely stay here again.

Dark, dirty and needs repairs!!

Property was ok, not as nice as 2 years ago.. They Didnt take time to clean it very well. Coffee grounds left in coffee pot. Kitchen Table Was dirty with sticky finger prints. Balcony was filthy with dirt to the point we didn't want to take off our flip flops., with papers, food crumbs on floor. Out door patio furniture was filthy old and beat up pretty bad. Ceiling fan was broken help together with tape. Overall This condo was dark and needs to have some repairs and updates. Not beachy at all.

Family vacation

Booking and check in was super easy. All we had to do was arrive, get our parking passes for parking and wrist bands for the pool, unpack and enjoy! Everything was clean when we arrived. Beautiful decor! We loved the extra large balcony. We were able to enjoy the view with everyone fitted comfortably and not cramped. We had a wonderful stay, just wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing I would change would be the sofa bed, it was worn out and needed a change.
