  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

The location was good. The condo was alright I would stay there again. The only few things that were flaws for my family were, the freezer makes no ice, the bed in the master bedroom needs a thicker mattress pad or something the bed is hard. There weren’t enough pillow cases for king size pillows, could use a couple more dish towels there’s only one. No extra toilet paper or paper towels so make sure you get extra. The unit needs a good deep clean. There is black mold in the master bathroom ceiling vent, shower grout needs scrubbed good. Everything needs dusted thoroughly. Furniture in living room had a few stains. Other than all of that it was an enjoyable stay.

Great location

The condo was nice with a great location! The sunsets were beautiful from the balcony. My only suggestion would be that duvet covers would be better than the quilts/comforters that were on the bed.

Nice property but several issues

The property was great, location good, beach outstanding. However, we had several issues with the condo unit itself. The balcony sliding door lock kept sticking, to to the point that we had to call the office to have it fixed. The toilet in the master bedroom was working fine for three days then just stopped filling after flushing. Had to call about that also. The ice maker in the fridge was working fine for about three days then decided it didn’t want to put out cubes, crushed ice only. Didn’t even bother calling that one in. The door to the laundry closet where the washer/dryer combo came off the tracks. Had to call that in too. The refrigerator wouldn’t cool down when we first got there so we had to call to get maintenance to look at it. They cleaned off the coils and that seemed to resolve the issue. Although maintenance reacted fairly quickly, we shouldn’t have had to put in so many calls for things needing attention, especially considering how much we paid to rent the unit. We did enjoy the large balcony- very nice!

Very nice location

All was nice until shower time. We had no hot water in master bath. Shower ok in guest bath. Turned on dishwasher when leaving and it backed up in kitchen sink.

Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our stay at Oceanvilla! The property is very well maintained and the location is perfect. 30 minutes from airport and right on the ocean with stores/restaurants within walking distance. Also, something to note based on my thorough research before coming, the elevators at this building are awesome! 3 available and they are fast. The condo was clean, spacious and had a huge patio which we enjoyed at all times of the day and night. Our condo specific was comfortable except the beds. Felt like we were the 3 bears. One was too hard, one was too soft. We did not try out the sleeper sofa, but maybe that was just right. In all fairness of reviewing the condo, everyone has different opinions about how they like their mattress.. The owners just replaced the living room furniture as we were leaving for a beautiful new set that brighten up the place, although we were fine with what was there. We were very appreciative of the beach chairs and umbrella that was included. Thank you for that nice touch! We would definitely stay here again if the king mattress was replaced.
