The day before our reservation, the manager called to tell us that our balcony was sealed off due to balcony construction (which was supposed to be completed). They offered to let us out of the reservation, but we chose to keep it, because we wanted to stay at that location, and we were already traveling and couldn’t look for other options. They gave us a small discount, which was appreciated. I totally understand that this situation was outside of their control. I was only thinking about the balcony (which ended up being open but with temporary railings) - what I didn’t consider was the noise issue, which definitely woke us up early on weekdays. The updates in the condo are very nice; however, we were disappointed that the living room furniture was different than the pictures when we booked. The photographed room was really nice with an updated comfy couch, end tables, and rug. The actual couch was old, outdated, and faded, and there were no side tables or rug. They added a Murphy bed since the photos were taken, which is fine, but it made the living room almost unusable with no tables to use near the couch, so we were more comfortable just hanging out in the bedroom. We had a maintenance issue that was quickly resolved. The beach chairs being included was a HUGE bonus that many condos don’t offer. Overall, not exactly what we expected, but it was a nice place, very clean, and a great location!
