Mermaid Cove was fantastic! The place was clean and welcoming. The best part of course was the view. We loved seeing the water from everywhere in the house and beach access was perfect. We had a minor glitch with the internet but was fixed promptly. The host was very responsive.

Perfect location. We rode bikes into Alys and Rosemary for food, but other than that we stayed on the beach. This area of beach is not overly crowded. A few things I would share:1. 3 bikes are provided so if you need more I'd suggest getting letting Dylan know before you arrive2. There is a Publix 1 mile from this townhouse so no need to Instacart 3. Bring extra towels (no beach towels provided)*Do not use the dryer - there is something in there that made marks on our clothes*The beds are Super comfortable!

For the price we paid, we expected a much higher standard. Unfortunately, the property had a faulty door that let bugs in constantly during the love bug season. The rental company offered no option to cancel with a refund, leaving us stuck in an uncomfortable situation. Traveling with our 4-month-old, it was far from ideal to have bugs inside the rental. While the location itself was fine, the condition of the property was extremely disappointing. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it until these issues are properly addressed.

Impressive!

Clean, cute, and comfortable! A great rental for couples or small family. Tastefully decorated, stocked kitchen, views were incredible, shopping and restaurants were super close and the beach couldn’t be more accessible. We loved it and are already planning on coming back.

Our favorite place on 30A

This is our second time staying at Mermaid Cove and it was just as great as the first. We love the location. It is perfectly situated right on the beach. Perfect for those with little ones who dont want to drag a ton of stuff to the beach and walk a long way. We had plenty of room for our group of 4. The property was clean and tidy and beds and pillows were comfortable. Communication with the management was fantastic. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.

Great location makes for a great vacation!

We just returned from our stay at Mermaid Cove. We loved the property as it was right on the beach. The property was very nice and just what we needed. The property management company was very attentive to questions and checked in regularly. If I had to come up with a complaint about the property (this is petty), I wish the directions for getting to the property could have been more descriptive. We arrive after dark and it was very hard to find the location as it is behind the units closer to the road. I was kind of bugged about this when I initially got out of the car, but as soon as I heard the ocean waves all annoyance was gone.

Can’t Beat the View!

Love this place! It had everything we needed and you cannot beat the view and the accessibility to the beach! We had one little hiccup when we tripped a breaker switch and couldn’t reset because the circuit box is in a locked closet. We contacted the property manager through the after hours call service & he came out & helped right away. The rest of the stay was smooth sailing & we had a great time. Would definitely book this again.

Great Beach Condo

This lovely end unit condo is located on a private beach. There is a private staircase for the condos to access the white sands that make this area of the gulf so beautiful. We enjoyed watching the dolphins every morning while drinking our coffee on the patio. It’s close to a Publix for groceries and all the delicious dining options you want to try along 30a. We will definitely book again when in the area.

Great location and views!

Terrific location. A quick walk down the steps to the beach and a nice deck/patio at the unit to have views from the property. Unit was in good shape generally and clean. We did blow a fuse in the kitchen; the property management company was terrifically responsive and came out to reset the breaker right away. I did wish they had a pair of scissors in the kitchen. And many of the appliances were very loud, so we tended to do laundry or run the dishwasher when we planned to be away from the house for a bit. Otherwise, great stay!

Great Location and View of the Ocean

This condo was great! The view, the location to Alys Beach and other areas on 30A was phenomenal. We were able to ride our bikes to most places and it was right where we wanted to be this year. The best part was walking out the back door, down a flight of stairs and you are on the sand and at the beach. We are beach people and it made it so convenient with our daughters, If they wanted to run up to make lunch or go to the bathroom, they were able to do so by themselves. We had a great stay! The one thing I would say is that the condo is beautiful but the rugs in the bedrooms were gross. There were stains, burn marks from curling irons and just worn down. I get it that carpet/rugs can get this way but this is also something easy to fix for future tenants. Other than that, they place was clean and great!

Perfect location!

This was a wonderful condo for our family of four! So easy to get to the beach, we went back and forth all the time without it being a hassle. The condo was clean, well stocked and a great amount of space for our family. The double balconies were great for coffee drinking and dolphin watching! It was a wonderful week, we will definitely be back!

This was a clean house. We are pretty particular about the cleanliness of a rented house. We had no complaints here. Everything was in place and you could still smell the bleach. It was great! Excellent location, beach wasn’t crowded, and our family loved the bikes.
