Park at your front door and walk right in to start your Panama City Beach Vacation! NO private beaches here!!! NO high-rises, waiting in long lines for an elevator, or driving around a garage looking for parking here!

Freedom by The Sea is a beautiful newly renovated, canal side townhome located in the family-friendly beach community of Gulf Highlands Beach Resort at 205 Saint Katherine Blvd.

Amenities include gated security, 11 swimming pools (5 of which are heated seasonally), shuffleboard, playgrounds, an exercise room, tennis courts, 18-hole mini golf, a golf cart for easy beach access, and a beachfront clubhouse and gulf side pool with a bar and grill. Across from this newly renovated unit is one of the seasonally heated pools. This unit sleeps 7 comfortably with a roommate style layout (1 king in the master suite with a private bath, a queen-size and twin-size bed in the second bedroom with a private bath, and a brand-new sleeper sofa). This unit also comes with all the comforts of home to include brand-new stainless-steel appliances, a stocked kitchen, new washer/dryer, a coffee maker (k-cups & ground coffee), a gas grill, and Smart TV’s in each room. Golf balls and putters for the putt-putt courses, as well as tennis rackets are also provided.

Pack your cooler, grab your beach gear, and claim your slice of sandy paradise on these Florida Beaches. Get out on the waves with a speedy jet ski, or paddle past the surf to explore the waters with a stand-up paddleboard. Catch some rays poolside, or float the day away in one of the many pools. Have a laughter filled time bowling at Rock-it Lanes, or play some tennis on the community courts. Afterwards, grab a bite to eat at one of the several wonderful local restaurants within walking distance: Bayou on the Beach, Saltwater Grill, Wicked Wheel, Gulf Coast Burger Company, Firefly, Dee's Hangout, and more!

No matter how you spend your time at this Florida townhome, you won't have far to go!

*Assigned parking for one car only due to golf cart parking. Additional public parking is available 1 mile away at 600 Henley Drive for $6 daily. This parking lot is a Panama City Beach public parking lot and not part of Gulf Highlands.
STRICT NO PETS, NON-SMOKING UNIT. (smoking inside or a smoke smell will ensure additional cost.).

  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

the unit need some maintenance the sliding door needs new wheels, some new comfortable chairs on the deck.needs new chairs at the front door. the chesterfield needs new foam in the cushions. other than these few items the unit is very good and we were very happy staying there.Peter.

Great location and condo!

This little condo was just perfect for the quick fall break trip for me and my boys who each brought a friend. It was clean, it was right on the canal, and it was a great size. The boys loved playing mini golf, tennis and pickleball, but let's be honest - the golf cart was the main attraction :) It was so convenient to get around the complex and to the beach. Location was terrific and we had a wonderful time.

Pretty good spot

The host was wonderful and helpful, the location is alright aside from the back porch being in full sun most of the day at a weird angle. The cleanliness was nice, and the appliances worked. My only complaint is the floors were absolutely gross. You could tell in some areas they haven’t been mopped for who knows how long, it felt like walking on earwax. The property manager might be at fault for not making sure things are tiptop, so I wouldn’t blame the host.

Best Stay!

We had the best time at Gulf Highlands. Everything you can think of was provided. Easy communication with owner and she even called to make sure everything was going good and asked if we needed anything. She was an amazing host. Will be coming back for years to come.

Perfect!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Katherine is very responsive to questions and even checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything. The house was exceptionally clean and you can't ask for a better location. Having a golf cart to access things in the resort and get to the beach was very handy. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Home & Great Communication from Owners

My family and I just left PCB and stayed at this property. They had everything we needed with a golf cart to get us to and from the beach. Kitchen has everything you need. Back porch was perfect for us and our kids as we got to feed the turtles and fish every morning while it was not as hot outside. If there is one thing I would recommend, it would be get a better mattress for the Master Bedroom and maybe some better water pressure for the master shower. Either way, we will be back next year and will be booking this condo for our next week spent in PCB.

Great Family Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Gulf Highlands! The property was clean and exactly as the listing portrayed it. Communication was excellent. The golf cart was a huge benefit to our family, making it easy and fun to get around the property to pools, mini golf, and of course, the beach. There were lots of extras at the condo for our use, including sand toys for our kids, mini golf clubs and balls, some beach chairs and umbrella that were a huge bonus! We enjoyed the easy access of this complex vs. a high rise while still having the pretty canal view off the back deck. Our kids loved watching for turtles. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a couple meals each day and we made use of the grill on the deck as well. The beachfront clubhouse was closed for renovations during our stay, but the pool and beach access were both nice. Our favorite pool was the one on Grand Island, which was very easy to get to from the condo and had parking for the golf cart close by. Overall our family enjoyed our stay and would recommend this townhome!

Awesome rental!!

We were super pleased renting this property. The owners made sure we had everything we needed and gave us lots of detailed information. She checked in with us often to make sure we had everything we needed. The property even had lots of beach stuff, pool floats, wagons, umbrellas, and grilling tools. We loved the house and will definitely be coming back!

Family Spring Break

Overall this house was perfect for our family! Plenty of room for the 4 of us and still comfortable had my other child traveled with us too! The home was as it appears, clean and nice. The kitchen was well stocked with the useful utensils, cookware and needs that made it easy for meals in. Having the golf cart was great to pack up for our trips to the beach and just visiting the amenities around the resort. There was pool accessories, beach wagon and chairs and I think an umbrella- my fault for not checking and we brought all ours from home! Communication with host was easy and she was very nice! I don’t think there was anything really lacking, we were able to enjoy our trip and very comfortable in the home. * If i were to say anything and not necessarily negative but a suggestion is for more functional furniture in the master room. The second room was perfect, night stand & large dresser large empty closet and even empty floor space for luggage. But the master lacks any dresser and only one night table without a drawer either. With the closet also used as linen, vacuum and storage box we found ourselves trying to find space for our luggage and being able to unpack some besides hanging a few would have been nice. But overall it was great and not a big deal! We truly enjoyed the home and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!
