The place was clean and the location was as described. Everything worked fine. It seems to be a newer rental property as it lacks some of the little things that you come to expect at short term rentals like certain cookware (for us, a muffin pan), basics like cooking oil of some kind, a sufficient amount of dishwashing detergent/pods, paper towels, trash bags, soap, towels, etc. The code to unlock the door would not work so we had to use a regular key throughout the stay. My biggest complaint is that I was told by the property manager that I would be able to check in early (2 pm vs 4 pm) so long as the stay before us wasn’t really bad and the cleaners could get done by 2. I specifically requested to check in early because I had a toddler that needed to nap and was told that shouldn’t be a problem at all. I arrived a little after 2 and was told by the cleaner that they just got there and just started and it wouldn’t be done till 4. I don’t blame the cleaners for that. I wish I had not been told 2 pm check in was okay only for no effort to be made to ensure it. A denial of my initial request would have been better so I could have planned around it.
