Hyden family vacation 2023

Condo was very nice but needs some updating. We really enjoyed it and the location was great. Family enjoyed the beach, pool and surrounding activities. Overall the stay was great and we will consider coming back here again.

Very nice stay!

Large property with plenty of room for my 3 children, my wife, and myself. Large kitchen and family area. Master suite was very nice! Would stay here again.

The condo was extremely nice and large for our family of six. One small disappointment was the internet speed wasn’t sufficient to stream Netflix. Otherwise this was the perfect place to stay.

For the price of the unit, it needs to be updated badly. The kitchen supplies were terrible. The unit looks like it has not been updated in 25 years but the location is great. The palm trees blocked the view on the second level.

2024 Summer Vacation

It started off a little rough the AC was not working properly they came out and fixed it the Second day and all was smooth sailing the rest of the week. The management service was receptive to my call and took care of the problem I was impressed. This was a nice condo in the perfect location for our family.

Great place!

We were very happy overall with the place. Our only stumbling block was with incorrect gate code and Wi-Fi password we were given. Eventually we got the correct ones, so no big deal, just a little frustrating to begin with. The property was clean and perfect for us and our group. We would definitely book here again!!

Loved our stay and beach

The location of condo was perfect on Thomas drive. Condo was very spacious and had everything we needed. When we arrived condo needed additional cleaning, I called and someone immediate showed up to handle our requests. Our only complaint would be the pool rules. Way over the top on the “pool rules” and a few employees took it to a whole new level. Which made us constantly looking over our shoulder while enjoying the resort style pool.

Not the best

The floor was so very dirty. It was either not cleaned at all or cleaned with dirty water. The toilet in the master bathroom quit working andl our messages for help went unanswered. Then housekeeping showed up 10 minutes early and pushed out at checkout!

Spring Break 2024

We were literally harassed by the security on a daily basis and were accused of a number of things that we did not do. We were threatened with eviction on day 2 of our stay and repeatedly thereafter based on false information. I felt like I had to walk on eggshells the entire vacation and would almost panic thinking if one of us yelled or clapped while watching sports, we’d have security knocking on our door. I couldn’t even enjoy my vacation due to constantly being worried as to what was coming next. I have vacationed in PCB since I was in diapers, and not once have I ever had such a horrible experience and I will NEVER EVER stay at this condominium again!!!

Great Condo, Will Be Back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very spacious, nicely furnished condo, met all of our needs for family of 5. Nicely kept pool area and workout room, and very close to the beach. Provided basic kitchen needs, beds were comfortable (despite what a previous reviewer had said) and a few sand toys and inflatables were provided. Unit came with 2 free stationary beach chairs(pretty far back from the ocean and no extra in the unit), so if you need more or want to sit by ocean, then bring your own). A few problems noticed after we checked in Saturday: WiFi password wasn't updated in check-in email, the elevator button on our floor was broken, and the cable box didn't work in the main L. Room. We were able to switch out a cable box from a different room and the other 2 issues were resolved by Monday. Overall we were very pleased.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I never plan to stay with this management company again. They do not care about your experience. I booked through VRBO which shows totals costs with fee and all included. That’s what I agreed to. Afterwards, they charge you additional fees. Also, check in was at 4pm. We couldn’t get in our room until closer to 6pm and it still wasn’t clean. We cleaned it ourselves. The management group and the cleaning ladies story didn’t match up for an explanation. Everyone was rude about it. They also gave us the wrong codes to everything at the property. Not one of them was correct. Do better Emerald Coast Destinations.

Beds are the worst

Overall the property was good. We had a great vacation. We have stayed at Sterling Beach in another unit before and love the property. This specific unit needs a lot of updates. I’m usually not a negative person, but here are a few things that you need to be aware of. 1.) The beds are hard as rocks and super bouncy, even the teens woke up hurting. Every time my husband would move at night I felt I was going to go flying off the bed. The in-laws were in the guest room and had the same issues. 2.) The unit was under stocked. They didn’t have many of the basics that were needed, sheets to fit the pullout couch, pot holders, salt and pepper. And quite a few things were broken such as iron board, super dull knives, coffee maker top. 3.) It was not very clean. The main area was ok, but things like behind the master toilet room door was filthy. Dust everywhere and some inappropriate hairs lingering on the back of the door. Honestly it’s just needs a lot of updating! Overall it was a good place, easy to book, room location was great, and it did the job. I have paid less and got more! Cleaning and updating would go a long way!

Great location...just needs a few things

Overall this property was amazing. The location in PCB was perfect, on the strip but far enough away from all the "Spring Breakers". The unit itself was in the perfect location as well. It is a 2nd floor unit but there are not any 1st floor units. It sits directly over the pool with a perfect view of the ocean. Other units on this level had lots of palm trees in the way of the view. The pool was crystal clear and pool area was immaculate. The staff rounds at minimum hourly to ensure safety, whirlpool, hot tub are working and pool area is clean. The kitchen in this unit is much bigger than pictured. There were also some boogie boards, spike ball set, kites, sand toys left which was very nice. The patio is huge and furniture very thick, sturdy and clean. The downfalls: The unit needs a good deep clean. There was sand, dirt and hair strands when we first arrived. The bathroom and kitchen drawers were dirty and needed a wipe down with Clorox wipes when we got there. The refrigerated worked great but definitely needs a good clean. There were only 3 or 4 coffee cups, the one coffee pot top was broken(though functional), there were no spatulas, the oven had lots of burnt things in bottom(found out after we turned it on and fire alarms went off) and the dishwasher top rack keeps coming off the track. The large darkening blinds, chair cushions(inside and out) need to be washed thoroughly. I moved the master bedroom night stand to plug in my phone charger and there were close(not mine) and a lighter behind it. Though these are little things that I am commenting on, please do not let them deter you from renting this condo as I most definitely will stay here again. Mostly writing in hopes, they can fix these things and get a good deep clean so future stays for others can be perfect.

Management company left Dirty towels left in our condo for 6 days.

It appears the owners have a lovely property that they are proud of but the housekeeping and property managers are awful. We arrived on Monday to the laundry room full of dirty towels and sheets. The counters were dirty as was the kitchen table. I called the property manager that day and she said she’d send house keeping back. On Tuesday I cleaned the condo because no body showed up. Moved dirty laundry out by front door. It was there when we left Saturday morning. We walked around it for 6 days. I emailed them everyday. Sent pictures. Nothing. The condo smells very damp and musty. Pick some place else and definitely pick another management company !!!

Great location needs a better cleaning service

The location is great so close to everything . Upon our arrival had to clean the floors and counters the floors as you walked on them your feet turned black there was garbage under beds. Of course I cleaned dishes before I used them after all if the floors wasn’t clean who says the dishes were clean. Towels looked and smelled fresh so did the beds but I washed the sheets anyways!! Property was great close to beach and the pool was amazing. My only advice get a better cleaning service after all we pay a cleaning fee to stay there should be much better. Thanks

We would definitely stay here again. Access to the beach was steps away and the pool was well maintained and clean. Thanks for having us!
