Welcome to The Commodore 401!
This luxurious three-bedroom, three-bathroom end unit condo located in the heart of Panama City Beach. This newly remodeled condo offers stunning panoramic Gulf views from two of the bedrooms, perfect for watching the sun rise and set over the horizon. This unit has BEACH SETUP included! Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances and plenty of counter space for meal preparation. The spacious living area is perfect for entertaining, with plenty of seating and a flat-screen TV, not to mention the extra large wrap around balcony with plenty of seating for all. Guests are allowed to park 2 cars onsite. Please note, only 2 parking spots allowed and no boats or trailer are permitted on the lot. Owner has updated patio furniture, July 2024!!

Here is how the bedrooms break down:

Master with incredible Gulf views has a King bed and ensuite bath with a private vanity and a stand alone oversized shower.
The Second Guest room also has a King bed with incredible Gulf views and a private bathroom with a stand alone shower.
The third bedroom has 1 Queen and 1 Full bed and a Flat screen TV. There is a bathroom off the hallway with a tub shower combo.
The living room has a Queen Sleeper Sofa.

The Commodore property sits on the quiet end of Thomas Drive just outside the entrance to the State Park and walking distance to local restaurants, shops, and marinas. You will find it easy to fall in love with the great outdoors at this complex with so much to do! 24-hour security is visible for extra security in and around the complex. Look no further, Commodore is the ideal spot to find a little "R and R."

Family Vacation

My family and I enjoyed this condo property in early July 2025. There were 9 of us is total and this property accomodated us well! There were many thoughtful features throughout the condo that made our stay wonderful (additional hanging hooks everywhere, ample dining furniture indoors/outdoors, equipped kitchen). One of our best stays in PCB pver the last 2 decades!

Great Family Time

Wonderful unit with plenty of room for our adult children and their spouses. Beach service included was a plus. Some partying until 4:00 am in the unit above us on our last night. That was the only negative.

Great Accommodation But Needs Better Management

I was very pleased with our accommodation. It was exactly as advertised. It was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful balcony. I would have rated it 5 stars if it had not been for the management company. I booked through VRBO and it advertised free cancellations. Upon reading the fine print, that was not the case. I booked in April for June and within 2 or 3 days of my initial reservation, I wanted to shift my stay by one day and add an additional day. I left multiple messages and received no return call. I finally had VRBO call for me while I was on hold. The VRBO agent was told there they would add the extra day but would not shift it. Since I knew there was availability, it was very disappointing. Since it was not free cancellation, I could not just cancel and rebook. It was not until the day before check-in that I dealt with a responsive representative. From that point on, things went smoothly but Beach Getaways really needs to hire more staff to return phone calls.

Fantastic view of the beach / sunsets

We enjoyed our stay very much, particularly the wrap around balcony where we enjoyed sunsets when it was warm enough. The unit was just as advertised but the property itself is starting to look a little dated. But can't beat it for access to walks on the beach and those great sunsets.

Very nice condo

We loved staying near the end of the strip! We felt like it was much quieter! The room wasn’t spotless by any means, but we’ve arrived to places much worse. The condo was so spacious. The balcony was huge and there were tons of beach toys, board games, and baby essentials (pack and play, bumbo seat, etc). The elevators were fast! Parking was easy! Pool was nice! The water hoses and showers to rinse the sand off weren’t always on and that was a minor inconvenience! Overall it was great and fit the needs of our large family perfectly!
