The Sunset at Calypso | Beachfront | West-End Views

Welcome to The Sunset at Calypso, a true beachfront 3 bedroom / 3 bath condo located on the 8th floor of the west building — the sweet spot for sweeping Gulf views and unforgettable sunsets.

As an end-unit next to a public beach, our views are permanently protected. No future construction. No surprises. Just coastline, sky, and the kind of sunsets you never get tired of watching.

Inside, you’ll find an open living, kitchen, and dining area designed for gathering after beach days, complete with crown molding and cozy window seats with cushions — perfect for reading, relaxing, or sneaking in a nap with a view.

Step onto the balcony and settle into deep-seat poly rockers, swivel tall-boy chairs, or a classic rocker and watch the sun melt into the Gulf. Every seat is a good one.

All three bedrooms feature king beds and Smart TVs, and with three full baths, mornings are easy and unhurried. You’ll also enjoy private owner parking in the garage below the tower, two pools, and two reserved beach chairs with umbrella waiting for you on the sand.

Located right next to the Pier and Pier Park, this is the closest condo complex — close to everything, yet perfectly positioned for peaceful sunsets.

The check-in process was easy. Communication was easy and all my questions were quickly answered. Our room was ready when we got to PCB. It was one of the cleanest condos we have ever stayed in. It was perfect for our whole family, ages 13- 74, my husband and myself, our daughter, and my parents. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware, plates, utensils, and cups making it easy to cook and eat in the room. The location is perfect and only a short walk to shopping and restaurants. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone staying in PCB.

This is one of the best condos we have ever had! It is comfortable and is in the greatest location. It's super quiet inside even with people at the pool and the little bar by the pool playing music. It was fun to walk to pier park which had some cute stores and several restaurants. My favorite thing was sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves. My only suggestion would be a few extra blankets as the air conditioning, even set higher, is pretty darn chilly at night. Overall we absolutely loved it here and are already planning a return in 2026!

Exceeded our Expectations

We’ve traveled a lot over the years and have never rented from a property owner as attentive and responsive as Penny. I had a few questions in the weeks leading up to our stay, and also during our stay, and Penny responded immediately to every phone call or text message. This was our first trip to Panama City Beach and we found once we arrived that the location was absolutely perfect. We were able to be on foot most of the time, and could have been on foot our entire stay and had everything we needed. Pier Park was across the street and had so many restaurants and shops. There is an outdoor shopping mall just beyond Pier Park. To the extent we needed groceries, there is a Walmart and Target within walking distance. The unit itself is amazing. We vacationed with friends and we all appreciated the great separation of space. The view doesn’t get any better with this corner, oceanfront unit. The white sand beach is amazing and you can walk for miles. We will definitely be returning.

Family Spring Break

Family has stayed at Calypso Resort several times and this unit was the best! Very beautiful & comfortable unit for entire family! Beds were amazing to sleep on! Bath towels large and very plush! Private parking spot was a real treat! Easy in & out of the resort. Would have liked a few more dish towels. Only had one in unit. Our family liked to cook a lot so maybe only a slight issue with us. Penny was extremely easy to work with! Will definitely be renting this space again!

Great place!

The condo was very nice. Rooms were large and it was great to have 3 full bathrooms. It was nicely decorated and furnished with newer appliances and furniture. (Best outdoor furniture on the balcony i've had yet)My daughter loved the window seats! Penny was great and very much made herself available for questions if they arose. I would stay again 💯. You get what you pay for with this one.

Watching sunsets in the Sunset Condo ...

The condo was beautifully decorated, super clean and was a perfect fit for our group. We have stayed at Calypso several times and by far this is one of our favorite units. The propery itself is an idea location to so many restaurants and activites. The grounds are immaculate and the large, comfy corner units offer the best views of the beach, pools, pier and of course those gorgeous PCB sunsets. Penny, the unit owner, was so pleasant to work with so I highly recommend staying here. We made some great memories on this family vacation thanks to her and the beautiful Calypso Resort.

Gorgeous property and gorgeous views!

Our family of 5 including 3 young children stayed with our in laws. The property was very spacious and we loved the layout. My mother in law said she could cook for days with the views from the kitchen! The furniture and amenities were 5 star inside and out. And the host was very responsive. We will definitely be back!

This condo is what anyone should be looking for. Penny made everything super easy and everything was known 2 days before we left for our trip. The condo has a beautiful view and is close to anything you need. We had no issues at all and it was also super clean. We will definitely stay here again in the future!!

Great choice close to Pier Park

Stayed in this unit for a week in July. Loved how easy it is to walk to Pier Park for dinner. Didn't have to load up everyone to drive 30 minutes (traffic) and then back to the condo. Walmart is 2 minutes away so it made for quick trips to restock on groceries. Finding a unit with 3 master suits can be difficult! Beautiful views as it's a corner unit. Needed to call Mrs. Penny a couple of times and she was quick to answer even late at night. Very enjoyable week and would 1000% recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at the Calypso. Penny was absolutely fantastic and communicated along the way and answered any questions we had. Knowing we had her to work with versus a company made our vacation that much better. Her condo was absolutely gorgeous inside, views of the beach and strip were breathtaking and the ease to shops and restaurants was unmatched. This is definitely a place we would stay at again.

West end corner units at Calypso are already hard to beat but after our 10th trip to Calypso, we thought this one was the best. Very clean and you can tell how much the owners want you to be satisfied and enjoy your experience.

Excellent unit with great location!

The unit was perfect! Great for our family. We could all enjoy family time and have personal space as well. The kitchen had everything we needed. Having the parking right under the building was fantastic and the daily beach chairs is a must! We loved he location and walked to Pier Park daily. Thank you for a great graduation vacation!
