The shower was like a camoer shower, the way it was explained we wete under assumption it was a spa like bathroom. I understand most Colorado does not have Air conditioning, it was 85 degrees in the hotel at 8PM. Large steep flight of stairs to walk to the rooms wasn't pleasant for a handicapped person. ”This is a really funky, quaint historic hotel. Great location, you can walk all over Silverton and to the shops and restaurants. My son and I stayed on our way through to our home in Northern Colorado. We were in the two bedroom room. The beds were super comfortable and we slept really well. Our main complaint was that we couldn't see in the bathroom, there was one little light by the mirror. ”It was a beautiful place! Loved our location. Close to the hot springs pools and right on the river. We could see and hear it from our rooms balcony. Slept with the window open and listened to it all night and it was awesome. There was also a trail loop that ran along the river that you could just hop on and enjoy.
