”We had a wonderful stay at Amarela. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and there are a lot of local specialities to choose from. The beach is clean and guarded so one can really enjoy the white sand and the turquise sea feeling safe.”

”Huge suite - beautiful pool areas with a great maintained garden. Alfresco breakfast area with an amazing view! Smaller breakfast buffet, but good enough. There is access to the narrow beach, however Alona beach is more about bars, so we enjoyed more the pool areas of the resort with ocean view. ”

”Entrance is a bit far and not instantly clear where we are going to. After finding the marks there's very friendly staff helping out. There's ice cream, small store and restaurant in the area. Massage and lovely jacuzzi area also available, along with some other nice treats. Rooms are very nice and well kept. My main complaint again goes to food offerings, even this was very close to what I can eat, it still was a bit off. Anyway I'm sure most of people find the menu very good at the main...

”We were upgraded to a villa after a 2 day booking in deluxe room and then the oceana suite, which we never actually got to see after being upgraded to a villa. We'd had a couple of maintenance issues with a plug socket and then a leaking lavatory in our first room. The villa that we were upgraded to, was lovely, it was great to be able to step just outside into the private lagoon area. ”Waste of Money...... Location: very far from the beach, extremely difficult to get transport, caretaker can call some taxi with premium charges. Amenities: nothing except swimming pool, which is occupied by scuba divers practice sessions and local relatives of property caretaker; Pool is full of tree leaf and cleaning is only once in evening 5 pm! Staff: none, only one caretaker, you need to search for her Cleanliness: No room cleaning, No linen change even for 5 nights stay, horrible! No...

”Staff is very nice, polite and ready to help you anytime. Anyway I think the hotel is a bit overpriced and the location is not good. There's no guard in the hotel and anyone can come to the room floors. Room was nice but there were lots of little ants. In the rooftop was also cockroaches. Breakfast was very nice and hotel has good food.”
