”We loved our stay, Natalie made everything very welcoming. She and the staff still served us an amazing dinner even though it was at closing time.
She was always there with a smile. The room was a nice clean room, it had good internet access, great balcony looking out over the lake.
If we ever make it back this way we will stay here again.

”The hotel definately has it's charm but with some facelifting the experience could be a lot better. The room I was offered was probaly renovated not after the 90's or even late 80's. The electrical wirings are also old - couldn't fit my standard grounded computer recharger in the power plugs of the room. Even though perfectly cleaned, the worn out table with dents left a bit untidy impression of the room. The soundproofing is quite poor and woke up in the night to some music and talking from the...
”What a pleasant 14 night stay in La Verniaz! The location is perfect if you have a car. The funicular is only 200 meters away from hotel and it takes you down and back very easily.
The swimming pool was big enough for proper swimming. The room was really big and the balcon too. Extra points for large flat-tv! The staff was wonderfully helpful and nice! Great stay at this very french style hotel.”

”Really good place next to the lake. Good service and even had a house cat. If free, ask for room 108. I have travelled in lots of hotels and it has the best view (new extension with big windows near the lake). I woke up in the morning and first thing I saw was lake 20 meters away and sun rising behind the mountains in the other side. Really unforgettable.
And you can look the lake and mountains from the bath tub :-)”

"Hei,
Huone oli varattu ja maksettu kolmelle hengelle, mutta huoneessa oli vain kaksi juomalasia ja kaksi kuppia. Lisäksi huoneessa oli pölyä sekä pöydillä että lattialla. Parveke oli likainen – siellä oli mm. linnunkakkaa, ja hotellin poistoilmat puhalsivat suoraan parvekkeelle tehden oleskelusta epämiellyttävää.
Suihkussa suihkuseinän lasiovi ei sulkeutunut kunnolla, koska saranat olivat löystyneet ja ovi oli vinossa. Oven sulkeminen vaati varovaisuutta, jotta se ei rikkoutuisi.
Aamupala oli maistuva ja monipuolinen, mutta ikävää oli, että ulkona syödessä linnut hyökkäsivät ruoan kimppuun heti, jos poistui hetkeksi pöydästä. Samat linnut pääsivät myös sisälle ja kävivät nokkimassa aamupalapöytiä, joista asiakkaat hakivat ruokaa.
Kuljetus hotellilta rautatieasemalle oli ilmainen ja erittäin toimiva – siitä erityiskiitos."
