”Oaktown Roost is a great budget-friendly spot in the heart of Oakland. It’s easy to access, well-located, and has just enough charm to make it memorable. The building has character, and while it can be noisy at night, they provide earplugs—a small but thoughtful touch.
The common area is cozy and well-designed, with couches, a pool table, and really solid coffee (served there, not in your room). The bed was comfy, the shower hot—though the water pressure could be better.

”Very clean and new hotel building. Rooms are tight but clean and have fridge and microwave oven. Since located in downtown Oakland it can get quite busy in surroundings, though 11th street is somewhat calm area. My room windows were on the street side and it was pretty noisy during nights. If you wear ear plugs it is no big deal. I stayed 10 nights and my room wasn't cleaned for once. Breakfast is okay. Nothing fancy but you get what you need to start your day. I probably wouldn't stay here...

”Hotellissa oli remontti kesken ja se aiheutti jonkin verran ääntä ja häiriötä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen, mutta välillä joutui odottamaan.
