ERINOMAINEN SIJAINTI
Huoneessa oli iso vuode, puulattia, punaiset seinät ja punaiseksi maalatut puuovet paitsi (erillisessä) kylpyhuoneessa, jonka oviaukon suojana oli raskas muovinen verho. Samanlaisella verholla sai piiloon myös vaatekomeron hyllyt ja vaatepuun. Seinällä oli suuri tv ja sen alla kirjoituspöytä. Valaisimia oli riittävästi. Ainoa heikkous oli se, että huoneessa ei ollut luonnollista poistoilmanvaihtoa. Puutteen saattoi todeta voimakkaana tunkkaisuutena tuulettamattomaan huoneeseen tultaessa sekä kph:n katosta, jossa näkyivät pintaan jääneen kosteuden merkit. ulko-oven yläpuolella oli lämpöpumppu. En tiedä, olisiko huoneen ilma vaihtunut sen avulla. Uskoisin, että se oli tarkoitettu pääosin jäähdyttämään huonetta helteellä. Huoneen ikkuna aukesi kadulle. Yleisvaikutelma oli siisti. Aulatilat olivat siistit kuten myös aamiaishuone, jossa oli parisenkymmentä pientä kahden hengen pyöreää lasipöytää sekä yksi kuudelle katettu kantikas pöytä. Lasipöytien tuolit olivat valkoisia Verner Panton-tuoleja, isomman pöydän Kartellin tuoleja kuten taisi olla myös pöytäkin. Aulassa oli lisää Kartellin kalusteita. Myös huoneen yöpöydät sekä kirjoituspöydän tuoli olivat Kartellin valikoimista. Kahvikupit olivat iloisesti erivärisiä. Aamiainen oli erinomaista kahvia lukuun ottamatta kylmä, hyvää appelsiinimehua, jugurtteja, batonkia, neljää lajia lihaleikkeitä, kolmea lajia juustoa, tavanomaiset murot sekä hedelmäsalaatti. En kyllästynyt tarjontaan kuudessa aamussa. Etenkin kahvi jaksoi ilahdu

The perfect 3 star hotel. Yes maybe the carpet is a bit old, but the staff is fantastic, the location is incredible, and as a solo traveller I have stayed there 3 times over the past 20 years and will continue to go back. This is value for money.

Mostly it was a good experience. GREAT location. Room was clean and functional (3 twin beds). Only downsides - had to ask 3 times to get the AC working, and the hallway carpets were dirty and some weren't even nailed down (adjacent to stairwells).

This hotel is in a great area! Lots of bars and cafes, 5 min from the Pantheon, 10 min from Notre Dame, etc. The room was clean, there was a big wardrobe to store your stuff and the staff was friendly. Would def book again!

Wonderful staff. Though like other places we stayed, wheelchair doesn’t fit in elevator (unless you take the feet off). Nor the bathroom doorway. Although great bathroom in lobby! Staff did put out a wheelchair ramp at the front entrance and left it there during our stay. Much appreciated! Beautiful and fun neighborhood to walk around.

Unfortunately, the whole hotel is currently under construction. Cables hanging from the ceiling in the hallways, noisy construction activities starting during weekdays from 8am onwards. Also some mold in the shower. Staff was very friendly though. I feel the hotel should be closed for the renovation. I wasn't aware of that when I booked. Accordingly, the actual appearance of the property was quite different from what was promised on Expedia.

Great for Families
Impeccable location for kids because it felt safe and has many restaurants just out the door. We could enjoy eating out and have a short walk back at night to return to our room. It’s true that the cielings in the hallways have exposed wires and seem to have ongoing work being done but the bedroom was clean, updated, great mattresses and big showers. There were some light moldy spots on the ceiling above the shower, but wouldn’t stop me from staying there again. Staff was great. Good breakfast.

Great location in the left bank with easy transportation to all central Paris and within walking distance to Notre Dame, Louvre etc. Lots of shops and cafes/restaurants in the neighborhood. Friendly staff. It is basic but serves well as a homebase for visiting Paris.

Nothing fancy in the lobby, friendly staffs are helpful. Property is dated, the flooring in the hallway is dated and not well kept. The room is clean, space is small but adequate for two people. Bathroom is clean. Sound proof in this property is sub standard, we can hear people walking in the hallway and doors opening and closing,. When other guests knocking on their door, it sounds like someone knocking on our door, especially at night. Foods served in breakfast were adequate, there's a coffee machine that serves all type of coffee, juices and yogurts are available, bread, cheese and cold cuts are fresh. Breakfast room and silverware are very clean.

Horrendous Service
The service at this hotel was absolutely horrendous. We were accused by staff TWICE for eating breakfast and not paying for it. In reality, we asked if we could just have coffees and no food and they said no problem, 2.50 euros per coffee. That was no problem for us. The first time we went up to pay, they told us the cook said she saw us eating (we did not have any dirty dishes) and the front desk had a clear view of where we were sitting. I believe the person working was named Melanie and she said we owed the hotel 25 euros for breakfast and we informed her we simply were not paying that as we only had coffee as per the agreement. Hastily, she said fine and charged us for coffee. The next day, my fiancé went down alone for coffee and Melanie accused her of eating food again and tried to charge her. Once again, no dirty dishes and we implored them to go check cameras if they felt so inclined. What a terrible way to treat GUESTS who paid over $1100 for the stay. On top of it all, the hotel is u deriving major construction which was not disclosed prior to booking. Good luck sleeping past 7am

The area is beautiful, the staff was so kind and wonderful. The rooms are a bit small but beautiful, clean and comfortable. I would stay in this hotel over and over again. Can’t recommend enough.

I would stay at this property again. The location worked well for us. There were 3 of us traveling, & our room had 3 twin beds. The room wasn’t very big, but that’s normal for Paris. Room was clean & the breakfast was good.

Ficamos 04 noites no hotel, fomos muito bem recebidos pelas recepcionistas que falavam Português, isso foi maravilhoso. Nosso quarto ficava no sexto andar, tivemos que subir uns lances de escada para nosso quarto, pois o elevador, que é minusculo, só chegava até o quinto andar. Isso foi um pouco complicado na chegada e na saida pq estavamos com muitas malas, mas no outros dias foi tranquilo. A localização do hotel é muito boa, próximo de estação de metro, de alguns pontos turisticos... fizemos muita coisa andando. Um ponto alto do hotel é a disponibilidade de guarda chuvas para os hospedes. Isso foi uma salvação para nós, pois pegamos um dia muito chuvoso e estavamos desprevinido. No geral o hotel cumpre com o que se propoe.

Lite og slitt, men rent og pent. Fantastisk beliggenhet. De pusset opp mens vi var der noe som ikke var sagt ifra om på forhånd eller under oppholdet. Brått stod det arbeidsfolk inne på hotellrommet vårt siste dagen og masse gipsstøv på gulv og baggasje.

The hotel is close to the Metro station, close to shops, close to restaurants, and close to Pantheon. The ideal place to stay. The staff members are so friendly. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Mixed review...
Overall, this is not a too bad place. Location was perfect for what we were looking for. Walkable to everywhere. The hotel need a bit of TLC. Carpet everywhere is tired at best, grease leaking from the lift ceiling,... not a great impression overall. Room was quite small but OK, although it needed a good clean and update (flooring really damaged, cupboard doors dirty, etc). The bathroom was really tiny, which is not a problem as such, but quite dirty and slightly disgusting. There we tiles missing on the shower floor and mould everywhere, especially in the shower area. Make sure you take flip flops to go to the shower and dont touch the walls! Check in was awkward. The receptionist was kind of nice and rude at the same time. She wanted us to pay for the full price of the room (already paid via Hotel.com) before we could get access to the room. When I told her that was already paid, she said that was impossible, as they never take payment in advance, she insisted the payment was just a card authorization and I needed to pay again. I really insisted and had to show the Hotel.com receipt, and only there, she admited that sometimes they do take payment in advance. She then apologised and said she was looking at the wrong reservation. I guess I'll never know whether that's a trick to get me to pay twice or a genuine mistake...
