”The hotel is quite new and rooms have a nice balcony/terrace. The rooms are quite well equipped, except for the fact you have to buy your own toilet paper.. I find it very amusing in a hotel that claims to be three star quality. Your room was otherwise nice, but it hadn't been vacuumed for a long time. The cleaning is only once a week and you'll have to pay for an extra cleaning, so we used a broom to clean the floors. We also had a dirty towel which we took to the reception and didn't even get...

”Hotelli on vanha Holiday Inn, joka on muutettu sisältä huoneistohotelliksi. Huoneet ovat todella siistit ja isot. Ranskalaiseen tapaan erillinen vessa ilman käsienpesumahdollisuutta. Tie hotellin vieressä on aika vilkasliikenteinen, jonka äänet kuuluvat hieman huoneisiin. Vältä tiellä liikkumista jalkaisin tai pyörällä, nopeusrajoitus 90 km/h !!! Viime vuosina useita onnettomuuksia. Lähellä Val Thoiryn ostoskeskus, Saint-Genis-Poillyn muutama pub, talvella Monts-Juran hiihtokeskus (1700m),...

9. City Pop 2Night Geneva – Self check-in

Keskusta

”Unfortunately, our experience with City Pop got off to a very poor start. The check-in process was a nightmare. I called the contact number twice and, after speaking to someone and then being disconnected, I never received a call back. We had been given an access code, but we still could not get into the property. If it had not been for the cleaners who happened to be there and helped us, the whole process would have been even more frustrating. Once we finally got inside, the room itself was...

10. Nonanteneuf Genève Plainpalais

Keskusta

”This property was exactly as listed and communication was wonderful. Like many places in Europe, there is no AC so our 3rd floor studio was hot during the recent heatwave. We kept things closed up during the day and then opened windows at night. The building is conveniently located next to Coop City which had a grocery store in it that was very helpful for acquiring breakfast and lunch items. Many attractions (Lake Geneva (flower clock and jet d'eau), The Museum of Ethnography, shops of all...

”This is a very independent place where to stay. We arrived on Saturday after the reception was closed so the keys and wifi code waited us in a safety box in the lobby. On Sunday the reception was closed all day and also the breakfast. But as we wanted there was the kitchen in the room and boulangerie nearby. We met the hotel stuff only on Monday and Tuesday we left so we didn't see them too much. The room is cleaned only after you leave. The only thing that was missing, was a hair dryer and that...
