”We highly recommend this place. Very nice surroundings and such a cozy an authentic mansion. The host was very nice and very helpful. He even showed us around the place. We could not have asked for more.”

”This was the perfect place to explore the landing beaches and cemeteries from. It was so close to Bayeux, also a great town to explore. My kids loved the lofted area, calling it the kid lounge. The gated courtyard means my kids could run around and I didn’t have to worry about traffic. Added bonus- the large trampoline was a hit! Thank you! ”

”The kitchen had more cooking equipment, crockery and utensils than I'm used to seeing in a holiday home. The grounds were lovely, and the location was perfect for walking or driving to the beach every day. The hosts were charming and we felt our dog was very welcome in the house and grounds (often not the case in UK rentals). ”

”We had wanted to visit the British memorial at Ver-sur-Mer and found this property on VRBO. It was exactly as described, clean and well presented. It would be ideal for people with reduced mobility as it is on one level with a generously sized accessible bathroom. The sea is only a short walk away, and the memorial is close by.The concierge service was especially good, and Dominique was an exemplary host. We would happily recommend this property for couples or families as an ideal place to stay...

”My husband and I and our 4 kids stayed here for 2 weeks while we explored the Normandy region. It was the perfect home base. The home was bigger than the pictures look and ample space for all of us. The back yard was perfect for the kids to run around. Fantastic views in every direction. The hosts were wonderful. Would not hesitate to stay here again, what a gem. ”
