”Sehr nettes Häuschen mit schöner Terrasse und Garten. Sylvie als Gastgeberin hat sich viel Mühe gegeben, uns den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Von hier aus konnten wir Paris per Bahn problemlos besuchen, auch die Autofahrten durch die Champagne waren sehr interessant. Das war sicher nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft.”

”La maison est tres agreable, propre avec tout le materiel necessaire. Elle est parfaite pour les grandes familles ou groupes, nous étions 10. Les chambres sont superbes, confortables et grandes avec 1 salle de bain pour chacune . Je recommande a 100%.Un grand merci à Marie-andree qui est joignable et chaleureuse.”

”This was the perfect home away from home to enjoy drives to the historic Champagne region. Close to Reims, Epernay, Hautvillier and numerous little villages in between to experience delicious champagne. Even one down the street. Well stocked kitchen for cooking our dinners. Used the washing machine mid our 15-day trip. ”

”This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside....

”Very neat old house in the garden of the abbey and next to the house of the property owner. Very warm welcome, great parking spot for the car and walking distance to the local boulangerie and shops. Good location for champagne wine tours. The towns (Essome-sur-Marne as well as Chateau-Thierry) are not as lovely as the small villages on the Montagne de Reims. Great walking routes in the area with lots of WWI and WWII historical sites.”
