”Our stay at the Balay Travelodge in Paoay was great. It was clean and the staff was polite and very helpful. There are lots of shops and food stalls near by, a market too for clothes! Thank you for making our stay wonderful! We will be coming back! ”

”The tv in unit 106 wasn't working, but it was okay. Great experience when we used their event area and had them catered. Enjoyed having breakfast in the courtyard area. This is the second time we've stayed and it was better than the last time. Hope see the staff at the palcio de laoag again next year.”

”I booked on standard room and a deluxe room. The deluxe was not available. No refund. Pool was dirty, the other pool was empty. Plase was rosting away. No pickup from airport was organized; lack of staff. They had 2 vans for the task. Servise was below all any standards. The nampe promised a lot, but the hotel and the service was poor. ”

”I give this place an overall 5 stars because of their price point. They aren't like other hotels that claim they are a 4 or 5 star then you arrive to find otherwise. They state they are a 2 star hotel right away. The sheets were clean but threadbare. The mattress was super firm and comfortable. They had an awesome pool that is maximum 5' ish and there is a basic waterslide that was fun for the kids but it is concrete not as safe as North American standard. The breakfast was good and standard...

”We stayed in a family room and it was an excellent choice for a group of five travelers. We have our own bed to retire at the end of a very tiring day of travel. Staff members are very accommodating for our needs. This is not a luxurious accommodation but if you are looking for clean room and facilities to retire at the end of the day, I highly recommend the place.”

”Staff was amazing! Very nice place to stay when traveling to Laoag or just use a very nice pool. The dinner we had there was tasty!!! Would recommend that my friends and family would stay there. I wish the pool was open at 6am in the morning, it would have been great to do laps then.”

”What an epic place to stay! The grounds are very large with a regal luxurious feeling all around. I got the background that it is owned by the Marcos family and was used to entertain in the 70's and 80's. Breakfast is a nice buffet and generous to guests as well. The casino has since relocated but the history on the property gave me perspective about the country. Highly recommended stay for families or travelers with an interest in Philippines history.”
