Property was excellent but even better was the host. She was pleasant to speak with, very informative. And she treated us like family. We went through hurricane erin and she was there every step of the way. We needed her and she was there within minutes. I would absolutely rent where ever Irene is hosting for sure.

Magical Stay!

Our stay at Casa Del Sol was amazing. My family of 5 (two adults and three kids under 10yrs old) stayed for 5 nights in mid June. The house is equipped with literally anything you could need to feel at home. The pool and patio was where we spend most of our time and the views are to die for. We felt like we had our own private beach to just ourselves!Everyone we encountered in the community was so friendly and made us all feel welcome. Carla was so easy to connect with prior to the stay and Irene was available nearby for anything. We can’t wait to come back again!

For our vacation I looked at multiple properties throughout the Caribbean and kept coming back to Casa Del Sol. The location (you can't get more beachfront than this) and large pool are what made me choose this property over others, and I could not be happier with my choice. We had an amazing time at Casa Del Sol. It is truly like a personal oasis, we had what felt like an entire resort all to ourselves. The house is tucked away in a quiet community and was private, exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor spaces have something for everyone, we basically lived outside while we were there. The pool is large and very well maintained, the kids spent hours swimming everyday. Having the ocean 5 steps out the back gate was my favorite part of all. I LOVED the constant ocean breeze and sound of the waves, nonstop 24/7....it was so good for my soul! The indoor space is very cozy and welcoming, and the house is stocked with anything you could need. Irene, the house manager, was so nice and it was reassuring knowing she is local and available if we needed anything. The house looks exactly like the photos and the owners are very attentive and kind. You won't be disappointed choosing to spend your precious vacation time here!

Great Vacation in Patillas

I stayed at Carla's house with my wife and two kids for a week. We had a fantastic time at the property: swimming in the pool, walking on the beach, and snorkeling in the reef offshore. Irene, the property manager, is very friendly and accessible and is nearby for any needed assistance. The house is very clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended to anyone considering getting away!

Perfect family spring break spot

Casa Del Sol was the ideal spring break vacation rental for our family (two adults, four kids between the ages of 2 and 10). Our kids never got sick of swimming in the beautiful pool, which was large enough for all of us to enjoy at the same time. To have the sound, smell, and view of the ocean so close by was incredibly special. The house itself is thoughtfully outfitted with everything that we needed, and then some. Carla and Irene were incredibly responsive and helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to rent this place again.

Paradise!

Our stay here was absolute perfection. We are a family of 5 with kids ages 7, 7, and 10. Being on the beach with a pool was perfect! You cannot beat the outdoor space - The fenced in yard gave us peace of mind with the kids and the outdoor bathroom was amazing to have! We ate all meals outside daily. The house was great! Three bedrooms each with their own AC control was amazing to have. Beds were comfortable and there were so many bird games for the kids to play when the rain showers came through! We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with everything we could ever need! A special touch that meant a lot was having ice cream delivered by the host! Communication with them was seamless before and during our travels! As mentioned in the description, it is in a local area - very little tourists which was perfect for us and what we wanted - the only down side to keep in mind is that the travel time to San Juan or the Rainforest is about a 1-1.5 hour drive each way so just plan accordingly! You defiantly need a rental car to stay here. The roads are very curvy and somewhat narrow around the home but once we got used to it driving was totally fine. The hosts also provided a recommendation for a local massage therapist who came to the home to give us a massage! It was perfection, Silvia was amazing! I highly recommend staying here while in Puerto Rico you will not be disappointed if rest and relaxation with still some adventure is your goal!

Ahhhh Casa Del Sol!!!!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Del Sol. Soon after booking, Carla (the owner) got in touch to make sure we knew what to expect from the house and the location. It’s off the beaten path but it was lovely and very relaxing! The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was stocked with essentials- especially coffee!!!The pool was huge, clean and was the best part of the house! Carla also helped us find a massage therapist who came to the house. It was a treat to have a massage outside listening to the waves crash!We cannot wait to go back!

Picture perfect

We spent a wonderful week enjoying the house, especially the pool and terrace. The pool and grounds are beautifully maintained. There were plenty of towels, games, toys, and DVDs. Irene was especially helpful in getting us settled into the house.

Incredible!!

This home and property are incredible. Extremely clean and well maintained and stocked with everything you’ll need for your stay. Pickup some food from the grocery store on the way and you’re all set. Internet worked well and the home has lots of tech and games incase it rains. The pool and its sun deck are refreshing and beautiful to look at. Regular flybys from the local pelicans were always entertaining. We will definitely be staying here again!

Amazing house in a great location

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful house right on the ocean! From the fully stocked kitchen(including spices/oils etc) to the comfortable beds and super fast cooling AC units, this house did not disappoint! We started each day drinking coffee watching the waves in the backyard and then enjoyed the pool and local beaches. Villa Pesquera Beach is a calm area where we enjoyed meeting the locals and learned how to enjoy a coconut using a machete! I recommend coming back on a Fri-Sun evening to see the bustling nightlife with local karaoke! If you have 4 wheel drive, Google Emajaguas Beach House to find a beautiful, nearly deserted, sandy beach area where a manatee may swim by. There are other nice beaches as well! The house is in a safe area and there are some steep paved roads with amazing views for those interested in walks. We recommend having a "lookout" person assist with entering and exiting the driveway as it's a busy curve. Fajardo is an hour away for those interested in tourist excursions, but be warned that you will miss the house and town within 10 minutes of stepping into tourist world! All local food great, including Mavi lemonade stand is amazing! The trip to Charco Azul and Cascada El Survivor is worth it for the adventurers out there(4WD recommended). The owner, Carla, was great about communicating with us and even provided Google directions to a supermarket on our way in. Irene, the property manager, is super sweet and also great at communicating.

Exceptional is an UNDERSTATEMENT!

Life is too short NOT to click that "Book Now" link. Upon arrival you are greeted by one of the most sincere and genuine souls you shall ever meet, Irene. With her sweet demeanor, she shows you the almost endless amount of resources you have at your disposal. Games, books, washer/dryer, even spices for your cooking. Despite her thorough demonstration, your eye seems to be peeking out at the magnificent Caribbean Sea crashing on the southern coast of what you've already learned (via the drive) is the most beautiful island you've ever seen. I arrived with a family of 6 including teens, infant, and children between 7-9. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT for us. The host Carla & Sean acommodated so well for our infant son. It was a seamless transition from home to paradise. The communication was absolutely on point and they even recommended the perfect eating spots. I've read some reviews about stores and restaurants being a bit far, but the truth is ... they aren't that far at all. There is a fuel station merely blocks away, a few local eateries within 10 minutes of a drive, and the supermarket is just a 20 minute drive. The house has hot water for showers, cold air inside on warm days, and speedy WIFI for all your Insta-worthy pics (There will be many.) How about that pool & cabana? Incredibly illustrious! Imagine grilling outside, next to you the pristine blue backdrop of the ocean sparkling the Besos Del Sol while sipping on your favorite beverage ... YEA! THAT GOOD! 10/10 - WILL RETURN

Simply AMAZING!!

This property is BEAUTIFUL. The pictures do NOT do it justice. The outside has a large pool with a wonderful cabana. Lots of room for your friends and family. The inside is decorated with class and style. It is fully stocked with all the amenities you will need. We stayed 7 nights and loved it! We felt very safe. Carla, the owner, and Irene were wonderful. Very responsive! Excellent communication!! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Spot

We really enjoyed the beautiful setting and the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. We took full advantage off the pool and grill, and enjoyed seeing more of the island than we would if staying at a resort. The property manager was very kind and attentive. Overall we had a great time and highly recommend Casa Del Sol!

Very relaxing stay!

Lots of positives that we whole-heartedly echo from other reviews: lots of attention to detail in house design, pool layout, amenities, communication, etc., that allowed for a very relaxing stay with our family (2 adults, 15,10,8 yr old) Only somewhat miss was there was one power outage the Saturday eve we arrived, and the promised power backup didn't kick-on; there was instant response from the caretaker, who immediately came over to look, said it appeared to be a bad battery and promised to contact contractor who would replace at beginning of week. (Outage lasted for around 3 hours, well past sunset). Then the next Friday afternoon, there was another outage that lasted for about 10min, but the generator again did not start. With that miss that impacted our start/settling-in, I'd make the stay a 4.5 - but always round-up for proactive service/ positive communication, even if thing don't always work out. :) In total, would definitely look here first if we return to Puerto Rico!

Relaxing week in a beautiful area

We had a great time during our stay. Perfect place for little kids to play in the pool and explore the beach. Snorkeling was pretty nice too when the water wasn't cloudy from wave activity. This place is exactly as advertised and the host is very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend for people trying to get away from the hustle and bustle. Only downside is that it is close to road noise. We tend to be sensitive to noise but got used to it pretty fast. The house is so great that it makes up for it easy. Tons of easy day trips are accessible from here too. Be sure to get up early and catch the sunrise!

Oceanfront Relaxation at it’s Best!

Amazing stay with my in-laws, husband & son. Loved the ocean waves all day long! Irene was super helpful & quick to respond. Owners bought ice cream from the ice cream truck for all of us - Thank You! Adventured up to Charco Azul & Tres Chorros for a day and enjoyed the jungle and blue waters. We are already talking about when we can come back!

Unbelievably Pleasant

What can I say that other reviewers haven't? The house is small but very comfortable, and the ocean is RIGHT THERE. We stayed for six days and I swam in the ocean every day. (It's quite safe if you just follow the instructions and stay to the left of the house. As soon as you see where the rip current is you can't unsee it and it's easy to avoid.) There are coral reefs inside the breakers so snorkeling is amazing. The pool was a little chilly to stay in for long (we were there for Christmas) but was amazing after a swim in the ocean. The sunrises are spectacular, the sunsets even more so. Everything was beautiful and sweet and comfortable and we didn't want to leave. If I could afford to go back every year, I would.

Paradise found!

This beautiful home made our trip as close to perfect as it could get! Carla and Sean are amazing! Communication was the best and Case Del Sol was easy to find. Irene, the property manager, met us at the home and was so sweet and incredibly helpful. When you pull in the first thing you see is the back yard- the huge pool and cabana and the Caribbean Sea. Breathtaking! The Casa is impeccable with everything you need to be right at home. Beds are comfy. Washer and dryer was a great help. We stopped at the Supermercado along the way for essentials but most things could be found a stone's throw away. I enjoyed my coffee every morning next to the pool listening to the Sea-dreamy. The pool and back yard is where we spent the most time- eating meals, grilling, adult beverages and games and of course enjoying the sun and cooling off in the pool. The beach is an extension of the back yard-through the gate and a few steps down to the water. I walked every morning and hardly ever saw another person. The neighborhood was great- The locals are fun and friendly. The local spots are fairly busy on the weekend with surfers, locals and folks coming down to enjoy a day away from the city. We loved the party busses that drove by and Carla had the Ice Cream Man stop over-coolest ice cream truck ever! Wander a bit and enjoy! We got plenty of R&R, mellow vibes and had great conversations over a beer and an empanada with the locals! We will be back! Thanks Carla and Sean!! Ash, Cam and Ashlee

Best Place to Stay!
