”Very helpful staff. Beautiful cabanas with a killer view. The bed was a little hard and lacked a bottom sheet (just a mattress cover on the bed) and the cabanas got cold at night. The staff provided extra blankets and space heaters which really helped. They even have warm sweaters, extra jackets and warm robes available in the cabanas. At night they light a fire outside in the common area. Breakfast was simple but tasty. We enjoyed our stay. ”

”Adriana, the property owner, was very welcoming. She covered all the logistics clearly and she also arranged for our shuttle to the airport which was very helpful. The room was basic but very comfortable. Our only issue was finding it as Costa Rica does not have street addresses. There was a map and description so we got close but needed help. Our taxi driver was able to phone Adriana for assistsnce.”

”Hotel El Guarco rooms were very clean & comfortable. Staff were very helpful & kind. The linens & towels were so white & had a lovely clean fragrance. The incuded breakfasts wre truly amazing & presentation was impeccable! We could walk to numerous other retaurants or fast food establishments for dinner meals. We were there for 6 days, & would have enjoyed a pool & lounges to enhance our stay. But we made lounges out of the benches on the balcony, by adding pillows to recline on. Also, since...

”We stayed at the Berlin on our way back to Canada. Spotless room. Really lovely, helpful staff. She booked us an airport taxi for very early the next morning. They were up when we were leaving at 5 am and gave us coffee and a take-out breakfast. We will stay there on our next visit.”

”It was my first night after long flight, so I just needed some sleep. which was a bit complicated as the hotel located just under the path of departing planes, means: it was quite noisy from certain time in the morning. Service was very friendly, though. Good breakfast and parking behid the gate (important value in CR!!) ! nb: it is quite had to figure out how to enter the hotel. GPS gives right location, so you need to find the gate and push the bell, but it is a bit busy street to just stop...
