The hotel location is great. It is in a quite area of Patong, but within walking distance to the beach, night life, restaurants...
The rate was very reasonable for the season, location and size of the room.
The room was clean, very spacious, very quiet, and in good condition. The A/C worked perfectly. And the WiFi worked well, for the first half of my stay... Let me explain:
What happened was that the hotel changed ownership right in the middle of my 5 nights. I did not know about it, just learned about on arrival. I found out much later that I was the only customer left in the hotel during that transition - Which explains the quietness. Everything worked fine until the transfer at midnight. The internet provider stopped providing shortly after that. The previous said that the new owner was going to restart it on their own account the next day. The next morning, the new owner said the internet would come back very soon. Later I was told that someone was going to come over the day after my departure to "optimize" the network...
Fortunately I was able to use my cell data, but came close to reach my limit. I also did not receive any new towels and room service for 2 days.
Beside these negligence, my interaction with both owners has been very friendly. I would have rated this stay 5 stars if that did not happen. This is a heads up about a potential ramp up period.
