”This was an awesome place to host 80th celebration- plenty of room for 8 adults and teenagers to be together or escape if they needed to. Great to have use of kayaks and pool table. Parapara as location ' close to Vollingwood, Wharariki beach or back to Takak. ”

Sadly my Dad and I arrived late at night so didn’t get to really experience the property much but I could imagine it being a wonderful escape for a big family or group of friends to enjoy. Walking distance to shops, cafes and the local pub/restaurant as well as the Farewell Spit tour company (which is why we were late arriving). ”Our four night stay was lovely. The house is located in a beautiful valley with mountains to each side. Cows and sheep graze in the fields around the house. Thoroughly bucolic. The kitchen supplied everything needed. Our bed was comfortable. A bouquet of freshly picked flowers greeted us upon arrival. The town of Tākaka is a short, scenic drive away, with a supermarket and restaurant options. Lovely beaches are nearby and most important to us, access to Abel Tasman Park. We very much look...
