”Beautiful historic property cleverly repurposed into a cozy inn. Our stay was delightful until synth harp music began blaring from the downstairs living room at 8 am. We have never experienced such a rude awakening and discovered it was set up on a Bluetooth speaker downstairs on what seemed to be max volume as we left - including commercials! If this is their way of making sure everyone is out earlier than the stated check out time I can attest it worked, but can’t recommend it for the same...

”The price / quality ratio should be re-evaluated, the cabin is not worth the price. The cabin it is quite ok, kind of average, but not worth the price. There is a small (a bit outdated) jacuzzi and fireplace, which is nice. The service was nice, the breakfast was a disappointment. One issue: the sea / beach is inaccessible due to a fact that the private properties are blocking the way to the beach”

”I have almost nothing but wonderful things to say about my week long stay. I thought upon check in there should be some incentive given to gamble. 10 Match play, free slot plays, SOMETHING. Instead I was given a $10 slot play as I was checking out.... Counterintuitive if you ask me. But overall? 4.8 out of 5. I do wish there was 24 food available, or it would have been a 5. The hours the restaurants ARE open, they serve amazing food and really good prices. My room was perfect. ”

”Well, upon arriving at the hotel, I did not see any staff members except for construction workers on site. I would not have stayed there if I had known a few things beforehand. I checked in through a live person on camera, and later found out that the staff handling check-ins and check-outs were physically located in India. I just hope Super 8 has a strong protocol in place to protect guests’ personal information, since I was required to scan my ID and credit card during the check-in process.”

”Worst hotel experience in a long time. Avoid. This place is essentially a dog hotel — every room smells like it, furniture is damaged, and there’s zero separation for guests without pets. The front desk computer was down at 10PM, turning check-in into a disaster. The young employee was completely rude — no patience, no empathy for a family traveling with a toddler along the Oregon Coast. She refused our $100 cash deposit for 30 minutes, finally accepted it, then never gave a receipt. When I...

”Despite all the other hotels around Motel 6 that costs more, we weren't dissappointed at all with Motel 6. For the lower price, Motel 6 at this location was great! Will use again when I visit my son in Arcata.”

”Everything about our stay was excellent, but the best part by far was Tyler, the innkeeper. Kind, attentive, excellent communication and an amazing chef. We loved having breakfast with the other guests each morning, sharing delicious food and stories of our respective adventures in the redwoods. The ocean views are incredible and the bed was extremely comfortable. 10/10. ”

”Beautiful views of Clam Beach and comfy beds! We stayed 3 nights and found the property well appointed. Beautiful hot tub and plenty of private outdoor space to enjoy; we particularly enjoyed the outdoor gas fire pit. This was our second stay there and we will definitely be back!”
