”nice place to stay”

”Room was clean, no frills but had everything we needed!”

”The lobby has dried mud all over. The first room they gave us smelled like teenage boy locker room. The second room was clean. The bathroom ceiling had black on it though. Refused to shower in it. Breakfast was passable at best. There isn’t many choices to stay in Point Pleasant that’s why it got a 3. Otherwise it would have been lower.”

”We had a decent stay at the Double Tree but I believe it must be sorely under staffed. The welcome mat at the lobby door was caked with mud, the lobby floor was dirty, the elevator floor and walls were very dirty. The walls on both sides of the hallway were scored/scuffed all the way down tlon both sides. The doors were in need of paint. This could be a great property and the staff were nice, but some TLC is needed.”

”There is no pool as advertised and no gym that I was made aware of while I stayed. The “breakfast buffet” was cereal and bread that you could toast yourself. Also my door had a huge gap around it and there was construction being done and so much noise all night I didn’t sleep. There was a lamp that didn’t work as well. The staff was polite but that’s the only nice thing I have to say about the hotel.”

”The room was very clean. Beds comfy. Pull out couch was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The pool was nice but kept running out of towels because there were so many people swimming. But the staff was very attentive and replaced towels when requested. I loved the cornhole game and large connect four game in the courtyard. I would definitely recommend this hotel. ”

”The guy who worked the front desk was so welcoming and helpful with information. The room was very clean and had a nice set up.”

”Room was clean & comfortable. However the surfaces like carpeting & chair were showing excessive wear. Not attractive. HVAC was very noisy when turning on & off.”

”Shower was dirty, spiders in the shower, smelled musty. Electricity was out for a few hours, so of course no air conditioning no tv. Not good”

”Very noisy until 2:45 am. . Also dirty sheets . Dirty and holes in towels . Dirty floors . Mold in ceiling tiles of bathroom on 2nd floor. Rude staff in office . Horrible . Never again. Stay in Gallipolis ohio near the river . Never here . Horrible”

”Great stay”

”The property was scary. It might have been the clientele but my daughter and I slept with our pepper gel and stun gun out while putting the chair in front of the door. The Days Inn next door look better kept. I won’t be staying there again. Also the smoke detector what hanging off the wall. I don’t even know if it worked. There was almost an inch gap under the door into the room. Definitely don’t stay in that room since any critter could come in. I’m sure during the winter, it would be fun...

”The room was very dirty. Don't think they cleaned it for along time. The staff was not very helpful with our needs. Breakfast was terrible. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone .”

”you have to check in before 10pm or they will cancel your reservation. It doesn’t say this on the site when booking. Also, there isn’t a phone number to call for the front desk to get ahold of anyone at the motel. The number sends you to a call center not located on site. ”
