”A very nice remodel of a motor court motel with all new interior, heating, and plumbing. Comfortable with large TV and nice beds. Very clean. Future additions might include a microwave oven, coffee cups for the coffee maker, and some wall decor. Overall, a very nice room for basecamp to local adventures..”

”Room was well designed and very clean. The included breakfast was well. Gym at the hotel is average and typical for a hotel like this one. Dumbbells only go up to 50lbs. Staff is super friendly and the whole check-in and checkout experience was good overall. Option to request services if desired. Would recommend this hotel for long and short stays. ”

”I booked the Spruce Room, which has extremely dated pictures online. There have been years of use when you actually view the place. The kitchen has stains and marked up tiles, bathroom is barely clean with black mold in the back of toilet. All 4 of our beds had dirty linens and since there is no on-site manager, they had us raid the emergency shed and hopefully retrieve extra sheets. These sheets were all unusable. They reeked of mildew. Our family had nowhere to sleep that night, so we had to...

”We loved our stay at this hotel. It is in a perfect location for winter and sunmer adventures, and not far from Lake Placid shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the comfortable room and sauna after a long day on the mountain, and the stocked kitchen made it easy and efficient to fuel up in the mornings. We will definitely return here again when we plan our next Adirondack adventure!”

”Worst hotel ever. Desk closes at 11 and said they would leave room door open and keys inside. Arrived 12:30 and room was locked in a sold out town. No room service next days. Paint peeling, wall paper coming off, rusted heater. Bed blanket was disgusting. We left two days early.”
