As soon as you enter the large property, which is surrounded by typical dry stone walls, you will notice the beautiful garden. The refreshing pool invites you to swim, sunbathe and relax. A covered dining area with barbecue promises many enjoyable barbecue evenings with family and friends. Spread over 3 buildings, Villa Mate has 4 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 8 people. In the main building there is a living room, a large, fully equipped kitchen with dining area, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The second building has a small living room, a kitchen and a bedroom. The third cottage is a flat with a living-dining area with a sofa bed, a bedroom and a small bathroom.This beautiful Villa Mate is located in the inland of the breathtaking Istrian peninsula. The Pazin Cave and Pazin Castle, which inspired the French writer Jules Verne in his novel "Mathias Sandorf", are only a short drive (5 km) from Villa Mate. Central Istria is known for small, picturesque, medieval towns that are irresistibly reminiscent of Tuscany or Provence. During your stay in Istria, visit the Euphrasian Basilica (Unesco cultural heritage) in the old town of Pore (30 km), well-preserved Roman amphitheatre in Pula (45 km) or drive to the first beach to enjoy. During your stay in Villa Mate you can also enjoy regional cuisine and a glass of good Istrian wine.
