”Comfortable rooms, plenty of hot water, beautiful views Welcoming, friendly staff but no reception area and keys/checkin instructions just left in an envelope (though they could come if you pressed bell) Very quiet location, somewhat far from local facilities (shops, pub for dinner etc) so anyone wanting to stay in the hotel having arrived should take provisions Excellent breakfast with gluten free cereal, sausages and toast”

”Staying at Roch Castle was a truly unique experience and well recommended. Location to the peninsula was great and the charm of staying in a 12th century renovated castle was great experience. It has been renovated to the highest quality and has lovely sitting rooms to relax in.”

”The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. It just needs a bit deeper clean and there was piles of rubbish just outside the kitchen. The room was also a bit tired. Beds were comfy and there was tea, coffee,...
