”Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!”

”This house is beautiful. It has the best views. El Castillo is such a cute town, with some of the best food at the shops down the street (and a very good bakery). The house is very close to the lake and Arenal volcano, and about a 30-40 minute drive to the city center where you can do a bunch of different tour activities. The views are incredible! ”Lidiana and family made us feel at home. House was clean and well equiped. But highlight of our our stay was definitely cooking class with Lidiana. Not only was the food delicious, Aaron gave us a tour of the vegetable garden with viewing of the resident sloth 'Crash' and frog and bird watching after dinner. We will definitely stay with them again.”

”Melanie and Ericka were both very responsive and helpful navigating this property. The view of Arenal Volcano was spectacular and worth the winding, bumpy roads to get there. The accommodation was beautiful. We had wished to spend more time on the deck (our favorite lounging spot) and rooftop patio, but the weather wasn't very cooperative. It was wonderful to have laundry facilities available. We recommend this as a great spot if you want to be away from La Fortuna yet close to many of the...
