”The property was in a nice family neighborhood, with friendly helpful neighbors, and a gorgeous view that was accurate as shown in the photos. We loved El Castillo overall.
The host advertised this via Expedia as "Entire place - You'll have the entire home to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party" and that is what I expected we were reserving and paying for. We got there and found it was 2 separate studio rentals on levels 1 and 2 of the house. The landlady was nice...

”We had an awesome week!! The view of the volcano, amazing!! We loved eating on the rooftop table, beautiful views and weather!! Very clean and safe!! Also nice having use of washer and dryer!! Easy to communicate with host!! While on rooftop if you look in opposite direction of volcano you will see several different beautiful birds in the trees!!”

”Fabulous experience. if you want the wild/lodge experience but still a staffed hotel with a bunch of services then this is for you! We were in the middle of the wilderness, with birds and sloths on site, but still had room service/clean up and buffet style breakfast and a pool! Absolutely recommend. good distance to all the sites/activity but far enough from the tourist trap that is la fortuna!”
