”Set in beautiful surroundings with safe parking and top notch health and fitness suite. Easy access from M56 and close to all amenities including two golf course and super sports. Clubs.
Hotel room was very modern and stylish,clean, welcoming and with good wifi and internet tv. Highly recommend for a reasonable weekend rate.”

”Stayed at the Black Dog Inn in Bolton for two nights. The room itself was comfortable enough for the price, so no major complaints there. However, the overall experience was disappointing.
The first night was a write-off in terms of sleep. Staff gave a late booking to a couple who had been drinking in the pub, and they stayed up most of the night with the TV on at a very high volume. ”Victoria Lodge is a fantastic place to stay...the location in the middle of Stockton Heath couldn't be more convenient for numerous pubs, restaurants, a variety of shops, Alexander Park and Walton Gardens. There are all kinds of opportunities for walks nearby (public footpaths through the Cheshire countryside, the tow path of the Bridgewater Canal and the Trans Pennine Way).
