Thomwells Family Affair is the perfect lake house! You will not find another home at Smith Mountain Lake with everything the lake has to offer while sleeping 18 guests! Awesome amenities include two stand up paddle-boards and a tandem kayak, a walk in entrance to the large beach area, a fire-pit overlooking the lake, large dock with wide water views. The interior has just as much to offer with a spacious layout including three levels, so your family/friends have plenty of space to spread out but this home has wonderful gathering areas, as well!. The main level offers an kitchen breakfast bar with seating, a kitchen table that overlooks the lake plus a huge dining room table. There are two separate living room areas on the main floor with a large wall mounted flat screen TV in the largest of the two. The living room offers access to the huge deck with 2 dining tables that are perfect for outdoor meals with a gas grill or you may choose to hang out on the sectional couch. On the main level, there are 6 bedrooms with 1 king bed, 4 queens and one bunk bed with 3 full bathrooms on main level. The upper level offers a master bedroom with king, plus a trundle day bed (2 Twins) along with a full bathroom and sitting area. The lower level offers a family room with a large flat screen TV, foosball table, full bathroom and bedroom with a king. Walk right out of your family room onto the lower level patio and walkway to the dock, beach or the kayaks & paddleboards. With plenty of parking, a flat walk to the water and the most spectacular views you've ever seen, you and your family will want to return year after year to this wonderful home because it truly has everything that you need for the perfect family vacation!!

Electricity and lighting at dock
Boat lift not available to guests due to insurance reasons. Guests can tie up to floater provided but cannot park in, under or around the lift

Water depth at end of floating docks is approximately 10 feet at full pond
THIS HOME IS ACROSS THE STREET FROM KELLY KOVE!!
We do not allow events or parties. This includes but is not limited to: weddings, showers, work retreats, graduation parties, parties. No furniture may be placed on the lawn. No tape or pins permitted on walls or house. Failure to comply can result in immediate eviction with no refund.
This home has two exterior security cameras. One is pointed at the front door and one at the back entrance and kayak storage.

The use of this property's electrical system for charging electric vehicles (EVs) is strictly prohibited. Guests are not permitted to connect any EV charging devices to the home's outlets or electrical infrastructure. Any violation of this policy will result in additional charges being assessed to the reservation.

Cancellation policy:
30 days or more prior to check-in date is a 100% refund.
14-29 days prior to check-in date is a 50% refund.
Less than 14 days from check-in there is no refund.
