”I and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Kalyana. The staff were wonderful, warm and welcoming. Responsive to questions / pre-bookings prior to our arrival from the US. We stayed in one of the wooden bedroom private pool villas. It was absolutely gorgeous - serene, and private. I was worried about mosquitos as it’s completely surrounded by rice fields. We were fine - no bites! Staff told us to let them know if we experienced any problems as they do spray - our bed had a mosquito...

”The room was clean but bed sheets and towels got some little stains but nothing big. Sometimes they forget to bring more soap or coffee during the daily cleaning but that's not a very big deal either. The bed was huge and comfortable, ac was working well and shower got hot warter and good pressure. The breakfast was ok, you choosed it from the menu. The pool area and the garden were very nice and clean. Staff was always smiling, friendly and helpful, thank you! We think that the hotel was good...

”This hotel was a real nice find! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was 10 minutes drive from the port and 30- 40 mins drive to some of the main tourist attractions. Which, for the size of the island, is about as close as you get whilst still being near the main area and restaurants. Very friendly hotel pets always looking for cuddles (1 dog, 2 cats). A lovely pool but could really do with some sun loungers! That is my only suggestion. We loved it here ”

”The recently built Sabana is just amazing. Rooms are clean and comfy, and staff is very friendly and helpful. Because of our late flight we arrived to Sabana later than 11pm, but staff arranged it so that there still was someone meeting us after midnight (Thank you for that!). ”Price point matters. Do not compare this to a much more expensive location, that would be unfair. At this price, this is a superior option. The garden is beautiful. ”Bungalows are very clean, cozy and comfortable. The bed was the best we’ve experienced during our Bali trip! Staff was extremely helpful and the outdoor bathroom was very nice experience :) If you plan to stay here, you’ll meed a scooter - but you’ll need it everywhere in Nusa Penida. Traffic there is easy, so no need to worry! Also there was two puppies that made our stay extra lovely ^-^”

”Family run property, girls are fabulous. Breakfast is limited but lovely and Nemu Kitchen and across road has great breakfast for something different. Great fried chicken shop across road. Small property with beach at back of property and ask girls to take lounges under shady trees steps from beach. Perfect. It’s cheap, clean and stayed in pool side rooms. It’s relaxing and would stay again. It’s simple old Bali style ”
